The event was held in a Secret Garden (yes we took a bus trip to the middle of nowhere and nobody knew where to) and me Josi stayed all night sipping drinks, talking to Sophia, the curator of the cocktails, and gossiped about the art that was produced in collaboration with Junique. The event really was fun and just one more great of my experiences I've had with Bombay Sapphire.

OSHUN BEAUTY EVENT

A couple of week ago I attended the coolest beauty event I've ever been to! Not because it was specially done or anything - trust me in my 5 years of blogging I have been to a whole lotta events, and some have been the craziest things I've ever experienced - but it was because of the energy and the cause. It was special in a different sense.
Dedicated to celebrating the beauty of dark skin the team of OShun called all black girls to come out and celebrate with a special make up session. Yes this event was entirely dedicated to females of colour, but living and struggling in western society, sometimes we gotta do our own parties too!

LITTLE GUCCI SOMETHING..

Yet another Gucci purchase! And I haven't even shown you the first. But as I said in my wish list post I wanted to make myself a little gift and I got it: the Gucci SoHo key holder.
I was lucky enough to get the last one of Breuninger. How gorgeous is this little Gucci SoHo keychain? The leather is so soft and it feels very luxe. Not only can I fit in my keys, but it's actually big enough to fit a little credit card, some coins and mini sized lipsticks (like these ones from YSL I often carry with me but get lost in my handbag) without being to big or bulgy.
The zip really is a bonus! I have been thinking about getting a new key holder for a while now, because my old one from H&M has gotten super rusty over the years. I wanted to go for something

Can't believe another year has passed. Time is at such a speed right now, I feel like life is rushing me by. I'm turning 23 tomorrow so I decided to post a little wish list here and the blog. Oh and make sure to stop by tomorrow for a little giveaway!

The Gucci SoHo keychain will be a gift to myself, where as the Dionysus, Princetown slippers and boots will be on my list of things I'm saving for this year and the Gucci belt probably my next purchase. I hate backpacks but I'm obsessed with this cute little bag from Zara, as it can be worn like my dream bag from MCM - the bebe boo.  The MAC wants are my beauty wishes that I stumbled across whilst out shopping with my friend Grace. The purple matte liquid lipstick is on my wish list since last week when I saw my friend Julie rocking it (you probably saw that on Snapchat!). As for chokers? I'm obsessed and I want all three packs I spotted at Zara plus very much the Acne choker copy that seems to be sold out everywhere already.. oh well

So yeah these are a list of material things I could come up with to wish for my birthday. But I'm not really the person to wish for things.. It doesn't really matter what it is you gift me and I mean it when I say "I don't mind at all.", after being asked what it is I want. Fact is I will most probably even forget what it is you gave me for my birthday (Sorry!). But what I don't forget is the feeling I had in that very moment realizing you thought of me, you took your time to get me something and that smile and excitement on your face being happy to gift me something..
As for non-material wishes.. My biggest wish is that I find my smile again I lost in the last couple of months. I wish to I find my way, place and purpose in this world. But above all I wish that all lost and broken souls find someone or something to mend their heart. I wish for peace and a little less pain in this world and to never have to see someone I care about be so self-destructive and break anything and anyone good they've got left in the process.

DIESEL LOVERDOSE TATTOO

This post is dedicated to my favorite scent of all times Diesel Loverdose Tattoo. It's my signature scent. I know for a fact that it smells particularly different on my skin. It wouldn't smell the same on you or on friend the way it smells on me. I don't know what it is but the fusion with my skin and probably own odor see for a perfect match.
It's very sexy and smells very pleasant without being too much. It's the right kind of subtle without being lost, the right kind of without being heavy. It's sensual.
I haven't been wearing it lately since I've run out of it, but it kept me for good three years. I still remember the event Nisi took me to during Fashion Week 2013 where the scent was presented for the first time and since then we have not parted ways.

ON THE EDGE - ODLO GIRLS TIME

I have to admit I would have never come this far, had I read the invitation from Odlo properly, for I would have politely declined the invitation and stayed at home safe. Me and heights are a mismatch like socks and sandals. They do not match.. unless you are open to it. Odlo invited my to their first Odlo Girls Time last week and it was no ordinary event. House running. HOUSE RUNNING. Let me repeat again, HOUSE freaking RUNNING was on the agenda.
Imagine my shock when I got there in my cute little outfit (btw the comfiest sports bra and tights I've ever owned! Thank you Odlo!) ready to run in a house not on its walls.
Sitting here on the edge was the farthest I got. Jacky, Amandine and I were pushing each other all evening until we got geared up and said at least we would try.

LEVIS 505C PRE LAUNCH PARTY

What's up guys?
How have you been? It's been super quiet here lately, but I'm back motivated as ever! I finally got my hands on all my fashion week material I shot together with Phillip, which is why I'm ending the drought here on my blog with my first event from fashion week - the Levis 505c launch party that took place on the first night after my first shows right at the Ramones museum. I made a quick outfit change somewhere in the city and opted for my new 505c of course. It's a very loose fit/straight cut kinda jeans that kinda of looks like a hybrid of a mom jeans and boyfriend jeans. Super casual.
But you can dress it up any way - casual, edgy (which I tried here), you name it and go for it..
The event itself was nice. Berlin's fashion crowd gathered in the middle of the street, people enjoying a beer, a drink or two and street food served right of a food truck whiles polas were being made to save all the memories of that night.
I took home two polaroids, two memories caught on film.

It was a good start to fashion week..

10 NEW FEATURES OF THE NEW UPDATED NIKE NTC APP

What's up guys!
How is your new week going? I can still feel the aftermath of my workout with Nike last Thursday. Trust me, my glutes were burning and my butt feels sore. I was able to test the new NTC app in its full new glory in some of Nike's latest collection while being guided through the workout by the amazing Nada Ivanovic, one of Nike's very own trainers. (Just when you think you feel like throwing the towel, she will keep you motivated to keep fighting. There is no giving up when she says "keep going!" - My butt thanks her now. *praying hands emoji*).
I got a first glimpse at the app and its new changes. It's a completely new app and not just an update. You have to delete the old one in order to use the new one. You can however still log in with your old account details.
Below are the 10 new features of the new version of the app.

IOANA CIOLACU EXPERIENCE FROM BERLIN FASHION WEEK - BACKSTAGE+RUNWAY

Today I need to share an unpublished post with you. I don't know how I forgot to hit the publish button on this, especially because it's one of my favourite. It's about a very special designer, a designer I have been following and supporting since her beginning as a nominee for Designer of Tomorrow Award. Ioana Ciolacu won as deserved and has since come a long way. She returned to Berlin Fashion Week every time following her win as DfT and I visited every show. Her designs and fashion inspire me and I love following her and seeing how each season evolves. The Ioana Ciolacu show was one of my favorite experiences during fashion week. I visited her backstage with Phillip, talked to her as the tension minutes to the show built up. I took a closer look at the pieces that were ready to hit the runway just minutes after and watched as the make up artists created her runway makeup looks and got the models dressed and ready.
I watched the show from the runway as Phillip stayed backstage and experienced the entire spectacle from behind closed doors. He captured all the special moments for me, as I watched my favorite looks walk the runway. Enjoy the post! I love all the images!
Fashion week is coming up again next week and in honour of it returning I'm throwing it way back to last season. Let the rumble begin..

MOET WORLD PARTY DAY

Last Saturday Moet invited people all around the World to come together and celebrate with them, sip cocktails and endless amounts of champagne and enjoy the day eating the most fancy finger food (which tasted divine btw!) while they had a few surprises in store. All around the globe in different cities it was the Moet World Party day.

The location was magical. The Ku'damm beach turned new Cappucino Cafe (one of Berlin West's new hotspot and It place for the rich) was the perfect spot. Moet had turned the place into a Pinterest heaven or something of Tumblr, a place I would have easily gotten married at. Although at first I was a little irritated about the snobbish vibes it turned into an amazing day.
My best friend and I enjoyed ourselves, met a few familiar faces as we lay in the sun and had time to catch up on what's been going on in our lives. I had so much fun on the pool floaty!

In the evening the stage opened up to a surprise act: Adesse!
Adesse's live performance was great. I found him through Instagram one day and have been following since. To hear his music live is quit the difference from hearing him on the sub with my iPhone.

A YVES SAINT LAURENT BEAUTY EXPERIENCE AT GALERIES LAFAYETTE

A few weeks ago YSL held a special event at Galeries Lafayette in celebration of the launch of their newest products and trends. It was a huge afterwork event with lots of champagne, discounts on everything and a special make up show by YSL's famous makeup experts who traveled all the way to Berlin. As a Thank You for attending, Galeries Lafayette and YSL Beauty offered free make-over appointments and of course I couldn't say no to such an opportunity. I made an appointment for the next day, perfect in time for Shery's birthday party.

Sarah from YSL Beauty made me feel comfortable from the very first moment. She gave me a lot of beauty tips as she explained step by step what she was doing.
Struck in all awe I forgot to snap a picture after my look was done. I did however share my finished face and the entire make up session on Snapchat (Make sure to follow to keep up to date with my shenanegans! Add loisopoku!).
Huge thanks to Galeries Lafayette for this opportunity and Sarah for the amazing look! I looked fabulous for Shery's birthday party night out.
I bought a few new products. But more on those in a new post.. and possibly a new video? ;)

FITTING WITH FRENCH CONNECTION

BBQ WITH TIMBERLAND AND THE NEW #TBLBOATSHOES

About two weeks ago I had the pleasure of having my first BBQ of the season with Timberland in celebration of their new model the #TBLboatShoes, a loafer made for summer. The location was beautiful, the BBQ delicious, as we seemed to float on the Spree. The platform we were situated on did. Or so it felt at least. You could hear the gentle waves crash against the platform. It all looked beautiful and somewhat idyllic as if stolen from a still painting. It was almost perfect; had it not been for the chilling breeze.
But you know me. It takes little put a smile on my face and wrap me up in a sense of content. And so all it took was a face of a good friend I hadn't seen in a while. Beautiful jolly Nastya. Plus there was good food. Good drinks - double plus. Some more familiar faces - add another plus. A well decorated location that could have easily been a memory of something I might have seen on Pinterest while browsing inspiration or mistaken for an illusion, but the cold breeze I felt, made sure to remind me it was all quite real. A lovely PR Team - yet another plus.
Besides eating and chatting and discovering the latest Timberland addition, we got to choose and customize our own pair of Timberland Boat Shoes. Tucked in a little shack sat a lady patiently stitching on all our customizations chosen from various boxes of colorful patches in comic style.

I picked out a pair in baby blue and kept the customization to a minimum. Simply a little lightening in the right far corner of my right shoe. Would you laugh if I told you it nearly took me an hour to decide what to put on my shoes just to go with a little lightning tucked away in a corner? You would, probably shake your head smirking.
The shoes are made of the softest leather. And they feel comfortable.

What's good squad?
I just wanted to share my look from the Press Days last week with you guys. I went for total camel look, somewhat looking like I was trying to challenge how much camel one can wear before looking like one. I don't know why but I really wanted to combine these culottes with the top, both new in my closet which I snagged of the sale at Mango.
After having kept my Rihanna x Puma creepers safely tucked in the farthest corner of my closet (talk about "I need these shoes so desperately in my closet else my world will stop!" .. oh the power of a hype *smh*), I finally brought them out months after the release party and staying up to midnight to buy them. I've been wearing them a lot lately. I kind of remembered why I got them in the first place and why I fell for the hype.
They are pretty amazing, don't you think?

THE MINT&BERRY FLOWER MARKET

Hey guys,

I had the most wonderful Sunday in a while. Would you believe me if I said it was magical? I visited the Mint&Berry Flower market with Tissi, Mali and my boy. Local florists, street food and workshops between a sea of beautiful flowers while you had the opportunity to shop the new Mint&Berry spring/summer collection, which btw has the sweetest summer floral dresses and pieces that scream "we need spring, summer and sun"!

So in love with my new frames from Escada. The model is called Bali and it's a piece designed in collaboration with supermodel Lena Gercke. These shades are perfect for summer or the flurry of camera flashes by an angry paparazzi mob. Not that I need shades for the latter ;) 

I don't know why but they remind me of Hollywood and LA.. Strolls across Santa Monica Pier or Sunset BLVD, sun-kissed face and my Bali shades..
Summer can come.

TIGER OF SWEDEN OPENING

The Tiger of Sweden party took place last week in honour of the new store that opened its doors at Neue Schönhauser Str., right in heart of Mitte.
The store is quite small, but well arranged and immediately inviting. (Kudos to the interior designer! This is merchandising done right!). I've known Tiger of Sweden for quite some time. I visited the Tiger of Sweden Opening party at Galerie Lafayette, one of my very first Fashion Week events ever. Nice to see that a few years later they now have a store of their own in Berlin.
Tiger of Sweden is a womenswear as well as menswear label - very classic, very elegant yet somehow very effortless. The new store however is solely for men.
The party itself seemed to be a success. Blogger-wise I was one of the very few invited (or spotted), next to Dustin, Nadine and the boys of Stylecaser. OMG finally met the cute boys in person and they are more beautiful than ever. (Ok I'm done crushing *.*)

QUICK AND EASY BREAKFAST IDEA

Breakfast, the most important meal of the day. I love brekafast, yet I hardly ever eat some. Although breakfast can be so much fun. And above all it can be easy and quick. Now my excuse for missing out on this meal is either I'm not hungry or I don't have time.
Even if you're not hungry you should never miss breakfast and having no time is the lamest excuse ever. As I said breakfast can be quick and easy.
The varieties are endless and it's the best way to start a day. Healthy, full, satisfied, happy.
Here is one quick breakfast idea I resort to in the mornings. Yoghurt and some fruits.

What's up my loves?
It's been a long time since I've done a beauty post and I've been feeling the need to revive this section. My first back to beauty post is dedicated to the one and only house of Chanel.

A FRONT ROW PERSPECTIVE ON DIMITRI

Almost my final runway report of this fashion season (one more special one to go!) is dedicated to the one and only Dimitri. I've been a huge fan of his shows ever since I started my blog and I may recall that all my Dimitri posts are mostly just pictures and hardly any to no text at all. That's because his collection speaks for itself and mostly leaves me somewhat speechless. When you can say it one word, why write an entire book i.e. post? Dimitri = amazing.

As for the day, Phillip and I nearly missed the show as we headed back from Marina Hoermanseder. It was nice to see Toni and Ruhama again and I sat next to them as we enjoyed the show.
It's the only show I didn't get Phillip to snap amazing runway pics for me. But it's the only show I have crazy good video material for my youtube video from.
I don't know, although these are iPhone pictures and some shots are super blurry and these pictures are exactly what I would never post on my blog, I feel like it has a very special touch to it. Very personal, very real, very close. A different kind of aesthetics.

BERLIN FASHION WEEK - LOOK 4

What's up guys?
Just wanted to show you my final look for Fashion Week. I've got to be honest, I'm feeling completely demotivated penning this post. I do not know what words, what topic, what message, to choose to accompany this post. In fact I should just leave this text field empty. But it would be a mirror of the complete opposite of what's going on in my head.

Yeah that's me right now.. I'm also wearing sweatpants. King Karl would infamously say I've lost complete control of my life. I think he is right.

REBEKKA RUETZ RUNWAY BERLIN FASHION WEEK

I have a hate-love relationship with Rebekka Ruetz. One season I'm loving it and the next I'm not shipping it at all, the season after I'm applauding and then I'm dissappointed again. This season however I loved it. The material and print mixes, the big belts as details.. I got me kind of inspired.

THE HOTTEST MONTH

February marked the Hottest Month in every sneakerhead's calendar. The Hottest Month is a month full of daily releases at Foot Locker. From the hottest Nikes, to the Puma x Fenty release (daaaammmnnnn) to Adidas exclusives to Vans, it's mayhem!
Foot Locker allowed me to choose and style a pair and I went for the Vans metallics that are exclusive to Foot Locker. Now let me be completely honest with you. I chose them because my initial reaction was "ew what are thooose?!", immediately followed by a classic Barney Stinson like urge to make them work in a "Challenge accepted!" fashion.

KILIAN KERNER BACKSTAGE EXPERIENCE

While everyone was waiting outside enjoying their welcome drinks whilst chitchatting, schmoozing and anticipating the show, Phillip and I got to sneak in backstage, but not just for hair and make up, we were kind of granted all access (thx Jona!!).
Phillip chose to stay backstage, watch and experience the show from behind the curtain as I sat inside the show eyeing each and every look. This post is different from my fashion week reports as Phillip shares an intimate angle on the Kilian Kerner show. I'll leave you with Phillips pictures only as I don't want to destroy the atmosphere of this post with typical runway pictures.
Phillip has been such a blessing this season, helping me with pictures and creating good content.

XAVI REYES PRESENTED BY MERCEDES BENZ AND ELLE BERLIN FASHION WEEK

Hey Guys,

What's up? I'm back with some more pictures right off the runway. The ELLE magazine x Mercedes Benz show is one of the more special shows on the schedule each season, always highlighting the works of a young talent. This year's talent: Xavi Reyes.
Xavi Reyes is a designer from Spain who founded his label with the same name only in 2013. His designs are largely gender-free (note the blush and make up on both male and female models during this show) playing with new silhouettes inspired by "youth, future and melancholy".

Fun fact: the guy in the first picture is a friend of mine, Simon Dube Paul, and I accompanied him and Phillip to the casting just a few days prior to the show. Trust me castings are not as easy and fun as they may seem on Germany's next Topmodel (You might have followed my day on Snapchat! LoisOpoku). We left the casting go watch Dube's little brother's basketball game and came back as the designer + team were packing up. The boys hushed in for a quick minute. Good thing Dube tried his luck.
He booked the show!

MAYBELLINE NEW YORK MAKE UP SHOW

Fashion Week kicked off with a very special kind of show this season for me. It was the Maybelline New York Make Up show that was also the opening show of the season, which I had been looking forward to for months as the special guest was none other than the stunning Gigi Hadid herself. I had received the invitation months before and it was the only show I was planning on attending, but as you know that turned out to be a hoax. Attended more than a handful of shows.. lol.
Anyway the show was special because it focused on the make up rather than the fashion. The looks were extravagant and crazy and each look represented a theme for each month of the year. Be sure to check out my pictures - you'll immediately get what I mean.
I think this was one of the most fun and memoriable nights this season. Especially when Gigi walked passed me out of the blue and I realized she is a true stunner. Couldn't even snap a selfie because I was in awe! Also because I spent that evening with my girl squad, we had lots of fun at the afterparty, eating cupcakes, drinking cocktails (..the usual) and got to meet a bunch of Germany's most famous Youtubers. Guess what they are cool as fuck. Down to earth as fuck. Fun as fuck.

BERLIN FASHION WEEK - LOOK 3

 
For my third look for Fashion Week I decided to go a little more.. well a bit on the boys side. I've been inspired a lot lately by one of my fav instagirls Aleali May. She's been wearing a lot of oversize bomber jackets in very androgynous cuts, mainly by my Adidas fam or Y3, which is a high end label from Adidas by Yohji Yamamoto. Her style itself is quite androgynous and she's rocking it.
I played with the masculine silhouette of this huge bomber coat I stumbled across on ASOS, mixing it with a sexy mini skirt to show off my legs, but kept the rest of my skin tucked away in a turtleneck. The details: tassels to keep it all a little fun.
Was I cold, you wonder. No, I was driven everywhere that day. Haha! Perks of staying with the girls of Blogger Apartment! (I did however make the biggest mistake of my life. Thinking that I'll be driven everywhere, I wouldn't need a pair of changing shoes i.e. flat shoes. No. Don't ever leave the house without a pair of flat shoes. EVER. Unless you are Mehtap. Then you are another type of Queen. You probably heard me whine like a pussy on Snapchat every second snap - add me LoisOpoku)
The top bun is very "every dumb bitch on social media ever"; Granted.
But.. sorry not sorry.

FASHION WEEK WITH BLOGGER APARTMENT VOL.II

What happens when you throw 7 girls and a dude into one apartment for a couple of days for Fashion Week? Blogger Apartment, that's what happens.
Meet the crew: Breeny from Breeny Lee, Samah, (moi), Yanin from Idressmyselff, Lori from Fabeau Trends, my bae Joéva from La Fashion War, Juliette from Romeo's Fashion Fix and missing in this picture - the most patient and stylish guy I've meet in a while Wilson from Black Whimsy.

During Fashion Week I moved into an apartment with a few international bloggers and vloggers, mainly from the UK and we spent most of the time together. From our apartment party and open house where we welcomed everyone into our own four walls with an dress up party with Even&Odd and Henna and Make Up Session and goodies for everyone to our shooting I think we can say we had a lot of fun and a few little adventures. I'm really happy I got to be part of this project but let my pictures speak for themself!

BERLIN FASHION WEEK - LOOK 2: LEATHER CULOTTE AND A DESIGNER JACKET

This is by far my favorite look of this season's Fashion Week. I wore it on the last day, so yeah technically this is day 4, but my following fashion week posts are in no particular order which is why I'm just going to be labeling as they come to keep things in order here on the blog.

As I said this was my favorite look, mainly because I got to wear this stunning jacket by designer VANESSAMORIN. I stumbled across her label through my homie Jean-Claude's Instagram and immediately fell in love with some of her key pieces. We got in contact and she allowed me to style this piece to fashion week. It was perfect for layering while still being the center of attention of the entire look. VANESSAMORIN is a Munich based Designer and manufactures her pieces in Europe. She even worked for Parisian fashion house Damir Doma after design school, but her label itself is what I would call clean and contemporary, casual yet luxurious.  "A woman wearing VANESSAMORIN appreciates and never loses the lightness of being."
Go check out her amazing label. I'm keeping an eye out for her as I can't wait to see how her label will evolve over the next years.

BERLINER MODESALON WITH WELLA: DAWID TOMASZWESKI

What I realized this season is that Berlin is not dead - Berlin's fashion is not. Berlin is Berlin. And that's okay. There is absolutely no point in constantly comparing it to Paris, New York, London, Milan and co. because last time I checked nobody compared apples to bananas.
And that's fine.
What I discovered for myself this season is that the real treasures, Berlin's new talents and great designer are hidden in the Berliner Modesalon, an initiative by the German Vogue. Exclusive to invited guest in attempts to separate the cynical fashion clowns desparate to do nothing but stage themselves from the true German fashion scene - the IN crowd (editors, insiders, buyers, elite bloggers..), who have not forgotten that fashion week is and should be primarily about the designers and the fashion itself in it's truest form. Among the designers privileged enough to be invited by Vogue to present their upcoming collections and months of hard work and art, was Dawid Tomaszweski, a favourite of mine since my very first fashion week. I too was privileged, privileged to be granted access to this show and for that I want thank Wella. Thank you for allowing to roam around freely very last minute and gather my own impressions and especially for the backstage experience.

BERLIN FASHION WEEK JANUARY 2016 - LOOK 1

Fashion has come and gone in what seemed like a blur! I pretty much did all the shows with my partner in crime Phillip who helped me take all the pictures this season and I was part of the Blogger Apartment project (more on that later!).
Brace yourself for a few fun posts from Fashion Week. This time I hardly attended any events and I pretty much bailed on all parties. Shocker! I know right? But I had a lot of fun peeking behind the scenes and being able to get a lot of backstage access.
I was able to concentrate on the designers and their work rather than all the tata tata and heckmeck and fake glitz and glam around it. I selected a handful of designers I was really interested in seeing and a got a whole new perspective being able to watch from backstage as it all unfolded.
People still belittle Berlin Fashion Week. Yes, it's not Paris, nor London or anything close to New York.
But Berlin is Berlin and it has a few gems to offer.
Here is my first outfit. But brace yourself for more to come..

FYODOR GOLAN - NEON EXPLOSION

BERLIN FASHION WEEK JULY '15

Lost in my archives I found these images of the Fyodor Golan show and my backstage experience I shared with Eileena. It's pretty much how we met and ended up becoming friends and filming a youtube video together. I was part the youtube loves fashion project, and since my main bae Joeva was down with the flue I offered to take her along.
I love the images and I can't believe their nearly got lost on my hard drive and flickr album. Unretouched, Unpublished, Unseen.

Next week is Berlin Fashion Week and I was pretty sure I was simply going to attend the Gigi Hadid Maybelline Show and Dimitri (must every year!) and go on with uni life. But in true DJ Khaled Snapchat fashion, let's be honest a big fat "You played yourself." is on order.
Of course I'll be running from A to Z next week and I'm a little over excited because this time I'll be working with an new personal photographer, a young talent, and we'll be creating content together.

I still pretty much remember the Fyodor Golan show clearly. Mainly because it was odd in all aspects. But the good kind of odd.
Thank you again Sane Communications for the really nice welcome from the first minute and making the backstage experience and the show happen so pleasantly.
I owe you these pictures.
And I owe Fyodor Golan sharing these images with you all and the net, because although this might not be my style at all (You can give me the white dress though! I'll wear it any day), I still remember the exact feeling I had when watching it. Seated in the second row I had the perfect view, it felt so close and the best thing above all: no heads to ruin my pictures. The music and use of lightening was spacey and all part of the show. Makeup just as bold as the neon color palette: bright green mascara and nails to match it all.
It was one of the only shows that really stuck to my mind that season.

Oh and can we take a moment to appreciate these heels? Research says they are Kat Maconies. Damn!
Pamina said these were the highest heels she'd ever had to wear on the runway. Kudos to her, she didn't slip.

BRIGHT COATS BUT TRACKPANTS

I'm loving this bright blue coat that I got from Otto. It is perfection to cure the winter blues. Sounds ironic. It's not.
It took me a while, but Otto surprisingly has a few hidden gems tucked in their online shop, waiting patiently for you to uncover them. Patience is the key word. Look through it with time.
Also I've been pretty much living in these sweatpants I got from Footlocker during the press days. It's an exclusive to footlocker piece and it's made winter so much more bareable. You'd probably associate sweatpants with a lazy-at-home look or as King Karl would say: "if a woman is out in sweat pants she's lost control over her life."
Who said sweatpants couldn't be chic?
I, for one, am regaining control of my life.
