TIGER OF SWEDEN OPENING

The Tiger of Sweden party took place last week in honour of the new store that opened its doors at Neue Schönhauser Str., right in heart of Mitte.
The store is quite small, but well arranged and immediately inviting. (Kudos to the interior designer! This is merchandising done right!). I've known Tiger of Sweden for quite some time. I visited the Tiger of Sweden Opening party at Galerie Lafayette, one of my very first Fashion Week events ever. Nice to see that a few years later they now have a store of their own in Berlin.
Tiger of Sweden is a womenswear as well as menswear label - very classic, very elegant yet somehow very effortless. The new store however is solely for men.
The party itself seemed to be a success. Blogger-wise I was one of the very few invited (or spotted), next to Dustin, Nadine and the boys of Stylecaser. OMG finally met the cute boys in person and they are more beautiful than ever. (Ok I'm done crushing *.*)

FROM TOKIO TO BERLIN - UNIQLOO PRE OPENING

Uniqlo has arrived in Berlin and I got a tour around the very huge new store at the Kudamm (Tauentzienstrasse 7) yesterday prior to its official launch which will be tomorrow.
Never have I seen a store with so many basics, from blouses in all colors of the universe to T-Shirts and polos, in plain colors, with prints, polka dots or stripes and prints - Uniqlo is filled with them. Quite fascinating actually! But that's what they specialize on, basics and making them functional for all aspects of life.
Uniqlo will be open the entire weekend (Sunday included) and they're offering quite some discounts for the opening weekend, like 100% cashmere jumpers with a 10€ discount and many more offers. So if you happen to check out the store this weekend you might as well take use of the discounts offered.

THE NEW AND FIRST EVER ADIDAS ORIGINALS FLAGSHIP STORE

So my busy day ended with a party with my Adidas Family after the fitting at Levis and the Blogger Event with Pepe Jeans. Jacky and me drove in her Smart across town while playing a game of "How many girls can we fit in a smart without getting caught and stopped by the police?" In case you wondered, we made it safe to our destination without being cuffed. And the answer is 4.
Adidas Originals opened their first ever flagship store, one of more to follow that will open in major cities across the world and Big B aka crazy Berlin had the honours of premiering.
The new store holds treasures like Opening Ceremony x Adidas Originals, so many amazing pieces from the Jeremy Scott collection (I'm a huge fan of every single collection he has dropped for Adidas!) and many more selected items representing Adidas Originals best. Of course I had to check it out and say hi to all the familiar faces.
The store is filled with so many great pieces and I have to admit I'm growing fonder and fonder of their collaboration collections such as Adidas Originals x Farm (L.O.V.E!!!! I had my eyes on this collection ever since I spotted a few pieces in one of the lookbooks back in October at the Adidas Style Room and I've been waiting for news about this collection to hit my inbox. One word: amazeballs! And still on my wishlist). It was super packed and the music was at full blast, but I still had the chance to squeeze past the happy crowd and fall in love with the fashion in store.
My favs and major love for: Adidas Originals x Farm and Adidas Originals x Opening Ceremony. Jeremy Scott goes without saying ;)

FOREVER 21 PREOPENING BERLIN

On the same night as the Pull&Bear pre opening the Forever 21 preopening took place as well. Good thing was that the two stores are located next each other in the same building, so I was able to hop over from store to store. In fact kept coming back for the Mojitos at Pull&Bear and ended the night with a live performance by LARY over at Forever 21 for the aftershow party. She's full of energy! While eating cake pops, popcorn and mini wraps we were able to get our hair done and even some fancy body art. I decided to get a palm tree across my hand.

WINDOWS PHONE 8 PARTY AND PORSCHE DESIGNS LAUNCH

Thursday night Lisa and I headed to the Windows Phone 8 Party which took place at the Lux 11. We played with the new phones from HTC and Nokia and there was even an X-Box to play with and Beats by Dre headphones (seriously want some!).
After that we stopped by the Porsche Design Party which was just around the corner with Ferdinand. Was a really fun night!
I was wearing a total rosé look. The glitter skirt is a present my really good friend Louisa (you've seen her a couple of times on my blog) gave to me for my birthday.

PATRICK MOHR OPENING

Before I headed to the Ellington Hotel for the Stella&dot event, I was in Mitte for the Patrick Mohr Opening. It was a nice late afternoon. The sun hit the streets of old Berlin Mitte. I was wearing one of my new favourite heels, enjoying a drink while having chit chats with my friends and browsed through the new collection.
I really like afternoons like that.

THE HOLLISTER BIRD HAS LANDED IN BERLIN

Hollister opened its first ever store in Berlin and I have to admit I was gutted to miss the event. I mean, who wouldn't be gutted missing half naked lifeguards running around? ;) Especially when many of them happen to be people you know! Visiting friends at work I think is always funny. Visiting friends running around half naked at work can only be hilarious.
I'm looking forward to visiting the store once I get back from holiday. I'm probably most excited for Hollister's checked shirts, their cute shorts and especially the comfy leisure wear, all embossed with the little Hollister Bird.
From now on it's "Welcome to the Pier!" ;)

Hollister hat seinen allerersten Store in Berlin eröffnet und ich muss gestehen, ich war ziemlich enttäuscht, dass ich das Event verpassen musste. Ich meine, wer wäre nicht enttäuscht halbnackte Lifeguards verpassen zu müssen? ;) Besonders wenn man zufälligerweise viele von denen kennt! Freunde bei der Arbeit zu besuchen ist immer ganz lustig. Freunde, die halbnackt bei der Arbeit rumrennen, zu besuchen, kann ja nur witziger sein.
Ich freue mich schon den Store zu besuchen, sobald ich wieder in Berlin bin. Am meisten freue ich mich wahrscheinlich auf Hollisters karierten Hemden, die süßen Shorts und besonders auf die gemütlichen Jogginghosen und Pullis, alles verziert mit dem kleinen Hollister Vogel.
Ab jetzt heißt es"Welcome to the Pier!" ;)

ADIDAS NEO OPENING

Yesterday was the last day of holidays, today I headed back to school after a (waaay to short!) week of pretty much doing nothing winter break. But the Adidas Neo Team highlighted my week by inviting me to their Opening last Wednesday and together with Desi and Nisi went on a day trip to Hamburg.

Gestern war der letzte Tag der Ferien, heute gings wieder zur Schule nach einer (viel zu kurzen!) Woche des Nichtstuns Winterferien. Aber das Adidas Neo Team hat mir die Ferien versüßt, denn die luden letzten Mittwoch zur Eröffnung ein. Zusammen mit Desi und Nisi machte ich auf einen Kurztrip nach Hamburg.

Okay, so the Gina Tricot Opening must have been one of the craziest nights of my life! I actually planned on buying a few petty things like a new pullover for winter and maybe a few accessoires just to make use of the 50% off VIP opening bonus with my little savings, enjoy the music, drinks and finger food and meet my blogger girls, but ended up going home with 4 stuffed shopping bags worth more than 250€ PAYING NOTHING!! (nearly nothing xD)

Okay, also die Gina Tricot Eröffnung muss einer der verrücktesten Nächte meines Lebens gewesen sein! Ich hatte eigentlich vor nur ein paar Kleinigkeiten, wie einen Pulli für den Winter und vielleicht ein paar Accessoires zu kaufen um den 50% off VIP Eröffnungsbonus zu nutzen mit meinen kleinen Erspanissen, die Musik , Drinks und Häppchen zu genießen und meine Blogger Girls wiederzutreffen. Stattdessen ging ich heim mit 4 vollgestopften Shopping Tüten, die mehr als 250€ wert sind und ich habe NICHTS BEZAHLT!!! (naja fast xD)

BERSHKA OPENING

Thursday afternoon I ran to the Bershka Shop opening as soon as the final bell rang. I had to be there for the VIP Opening at 4 oclock, but school wasn't over until 15.45. Luckily Bershka is kind of just around the corner from my school and I managed to be on time thanks to my superpowers.
The invited guests had the advantage to shop in peace to good music, get the first look at the entire store and enjoy appetizers (as good as always!) and drinks.

Donnerstagnachmittag rannte ich zum Bershka Store Opening sobald die . Ich musste bereits um 4 da sein, aber ich war noch bis 15.45 in der Schule. Da Bershka so gut wie um die Ecke meiner Schule ist, habe ich es dank meiner Superkräfte rechtzeitig geschafft.
Geladene Gäste hatten das Glück in Ruhe shoppen zu dürfen, den ersten Eindruck des gesamten Stores zu bekommen und Häppchen (so lecker wie immer!) und Drinks zu genießen - das alles zur guten Musik.

BERSHKA IS COMING TO BERLIN!

FINALLY :) I got my favourite trousers at Bershka two years ago when I visited Italy for the first time and since then it's one of my shops I look out for when I'm on Italy holiday.
But there is no need because Bershka is opening NEXT WEEK at the Kudamm!

ENDLICH:) Ich habe meine Lieblingshose bei Bershka vor zwei Jahren auf meinen ersten Italienurlaub gekauft und seit dem ist Bershka einer der Läden, die ich mir immer anschaue wenn ich dort bin.
Aber jetzt brauche ich das nicht mehr, denn Bershka eröffnet NÄCHSTE WOCHE am Kudamm!

SCOTCH AND SODA OPENING

After the Premium Young Designer Awards and my failed attempt at finding something last minute for fashion week and my friendly encounter with Jasonitos, I dashed back home to take a shower and get changed for the Scotch and Soda or Maison Scotch opening.
It turned out to be more of an inofficial Blogger meet up with Desi, Van Anh, Chi, Milly and Lini. :P
There was delicious finger food (seriously so good! I have no idea what I was eating, but they had the habit of mixing sweet stuff with savory. Really good!) and drinks.
Desi and me couldn't get enough of the Vodka Rhubarb. I think I have a new favourite drink xD
Us girls enjoyed the opening and we had a good time. Each of us was handed a key, that had to be returned for a gift a few days later.

Nach den Premium Young Designer Awards und meinem gescheiterten Versuch noch Last-minute etwas für die Fashion Week zu finden und mein freundliches Aufeinandertreffen mit Jasonitos, raste ich schnell nach Hause um zu duschen und mich fürs Scotch and Soda oder Maison Scotch Opening umzuziehen.
Es wurde eher ein inoffizielles Bloggertreffen mit Desi, Van Anh, Chi, Milly und Lini :P
Es gab leckere Häppchen(Ganz ehrlich? So gut! Ich hab keinen Plan was ich da aß, aber die hatten die Angewonheit Süßes mit Herzhaftem zu mischen. Sehr gut!) und Drinks.
Desi und ich konnten einfach nicht genug vom Vodka Rhabarber kriegen. Ich glaube, ich habe ein neues Lieblingsdrink xD
Wir Mädels hatten einen tollen Abend. Jede von uns bekam einen Schlüssel, den man einige Tage später gegen ein Geschenk eintauschen musste.

The shop is pretty awesome, the clothing there is laid back and quite casual with a love for details, especially regarding their cute accessories that could be found throughout the beautifully arranged Store. If I had to describe the style there, it would definitely be: comfortable casual chic. The fabrics the clothes are made of just scream: cooooomffyyy! Definitely an address to remember when searching for a casual checked shirt.
The store is located in the Müntzstraße 14-16. One of Berlin's most beautiful corners.

Der Laden ist ziemlich cool, die Kleidung da ist "lässig" und sehr casual mit Liebe zum Detail, besonders in Bezug auf die süßen Accessoires, die man im ganzen Store in der schönen Einrichtung entdecken konnte. Müsste ich den Style dort beschreiben, wäre es definitiv: komfortabel casual chic. Die Stoffe schreien förmlich: cooooomffyyy! Definitiv eine Addresse, die man sich merken sollte, wenn man ein lässiges karriertes Shirt sucht.
Der Store befindet sich in der Müntzstraße 14-16. Einer der schönsten Ecken Berlins.

Yesterday afternoon I went to trade the key for my special gift. Actually I was allowed to keep the key, because I've been wearing it as a necklace around my neck and it looked so cute, the girl from the staff didn't want to spoil it for me :D

Gestern Nachmittag habe ich dann den Schlüssel zurückgebracht. Naja, ich durfte ihn behalten, weil ich ihn seit einer Weile an meiner Kette trage und es sah so süß aus, dass das Mädchen vom Staff das nicht ruinieren wollte :D

MANGOES

My mom bought Ghana mangoes from the afro shop today. They are much smaller than regular mangoes you buy and they are yellow and taste very sweet. I'm a big fan of Mangoes. They are my favorite fruits.
And I got an invitation to the Mango Store opening in Berlin from Mango today. Yes, they will be opening one more store here :) Don't know this day has been a Mango filled day! :D
Problem though is, it's on the same day as the Evoque Style Awards. I'll be attending both Parties. I wasn't called like Superman's girlfriend, Lois Lane, for no reason!
I'll be crashing both and after all people keep saying "Never say never" ;) I'm gonna make the impossible happen, be in two places at once. CHALLENGE ACCEPTED (anyone else seen the latest How I met your mother episode?^^) Although it would have been much easier, if I had a time stopping/turning back stone like Hermoine Granger.
The Mango Party starts 2 hours later and the Parties' locations are only 15 mins separated from each other! Jaaackpot :)

Meine Mutter hat heute Ghana Mangos aus dem Afroshop mitgebracht. Sie sind viel kleiner als die normalen Mangos und sie sind gelb und schmecken sehr süß. Ich bin ein großer Fan von Mangos. Sie sind meine Lieblingsfrüchte.
Und ich habe eine Einladung zur Mango Store Eröffnung in Berlin von Mango bekommen. Ja, sie eröffnen noch einen weiteren store hier.(Wer noch ein Ticket ergattern möchte, kann beim Josie_loves Gewinnspiel von der lieben Sarah mitmachen. Aber seid schnell. Morgen ist der letzte Tag!). Ich weiß nicht wieso es ein so  Mango gefüllter Tag war! :D
Problem ist aber sie ist am selben Tag wie die Evoque Style Awards. Ich werde beide Parties besuchen. Ich wurde ja nicht umsonst wie Supermans Freundin, Lois Lane, benannt!
Ich werde beide Parties crashen und außerdem sagt man nicht immer: "Sage niemals niemals"? ;) Ich werde das Unmögliche schaffen, in zwei Orten zur gleichen Zeit sein. CHALLENGE ACCEPTED (Hat irgendjemand auch schon die neue How I met your Mother Folge gesehen?^^ Btw, was sagt Barney denn bitte auf Deutsch?) Obwohl, es wäre ja doch viel einfacher mit einem Zeit stoppenden/zurückdrehenden Stein wie der von Hermine Granger.
Die Mango Party fängt 2 Stunden später an. Und die Locations der Parties sind nur 15 min von einander entfernt! Jaaackpot :)
