RED ACCENTS AND LACE DETAILS

Hey Guys,

How have you been? I'm back at uni. I've pretty much hated uni the past year, but this year is different. I'm motivated, and I've even managed to programme some really awesome shit. Yeah, yeah i know it's pretty basic sofar, but I won't let anyone rain on my parade. Having no prior knowledge to computing whatsoever, I feel elated and very much like an OG when I write my own programes and get them to actually work.
If you don't already know I study Business + IT here in Berlin since last year. Ehem this year. Last year was more of an alibi thing. I was struggling and ended up not going at all, because at uni you are free to choose to attend. And one thing I like to do is avoid and stay clear from things that I don't like, that make me uncomfortable.
This year is going to be different.

I chose some cute pieces from Wallis for today's look. Perfect for fall transitioning I chose this sweater with lace detail - its accent matching perfectly with my lil Michael Kors. For accessorizing I limited myself to arm swag and statement studs which I also got from Wallis. (How cute is that glittery buckle belt bracelet?!)
I've always been a huge fan of patent leather loafers and I wore my first pair I got from H&M to death. So I can't be more happy to finally have a new pair. They still need adjusting to my feet and once they get comfortable, my feet and them slippers will be inseparable.
These faux ponyhair slippers are everything.

STYLIGHT FASHION BLOGGER AWARDS & THE AFTER SHOW PARTY

The international Stylight Fashion Blogger Awards were the perfect way to kick off Fashion Week. With all the talk and hate going on surrounding Fashion Week and whether a blogger's presence is ligimate and all, I really appreciated the blogger power going on on the first night of Fashion Week. Chiara Ferragni hosted the event together with Raul Richter (yes that's the guy from GZSZ) and one by one the winners received their awards but not until Mavi showed their new collection and there was a live performance by Andreas Wijk - blogger turned superstar (he's signed to Red One?! Hello?? That's the guy that made Lady Gaga famous!), who btw has an amazing voice! Still got "Alive aaaaliveeeee, I live for the moment" stuck to my head today which is the chorus to his new song.

MERRY X-MAS AND MY GIFTS TO YOU (GIVEAWAY)

Hi Guys!

Hope you had great Christmas! I'm still in the middle of celebrations. It's my dad's birthday today as well. Anyway I just wanted to check in with you guys, show you what I was wearing for Christmas and of course give you a little present as well.

DIAMOND TEARS

One of the coolest presents I've ever gotten are the Monster Headphones Diamond Tears in crystal that Monster sent to me for my birthday with a sweet birthday note. Louisa and I had been admiring them nonstop in "girls room"(a section dedicated only to women's headphones) back at the IFA in September, so you can imagine how super happy I was when I unpacked those. Believe me, they are a dream. Sound quality is beyond and I don't leave the house without them anymore.

Everywhere I go people stare at my headphones. No wonder, it's not everyday a girl walks around with  huge ass diamonds on her ears.

The jumper I've been wearing almost daily now was a birthday present by my super duper friend Mallyn. It's been a while since I've seen her. Miss her! It's becoming colder and colder day by day and I'm starting to get into a chunky knits mood and overknee boots. I love my overknee boots and it's always a challenge to dress them up without looking like a slut but channeling the classy/effortlessly/chic vibe.

NEO PANTS CHALLENGE

Here are the pictures of my latest collaboration with Adidas NEO and it's part of the NEO Pants Challenge. Together with Laura from The Limits of Control I represent Berlin Team Blue. Our task was to style a blue trousers from the A/W collection (yes that's the collection we shot in L.A.) and go out to the streets and shoot our style. We ended up at Warschauer Straße and had a great afternoon and fun shooting these pictures. I hope you can see this in the pictures and video as well. I was really happy to work with Laura because she's a really good friend of mine and I was lucky to be put in a team with her. Also we were really lucky with our team color. Being team blue meant I got to pick my favourite trousers I already adored back in L.A.
Keep your fingers crossed for us, because we want to go to the Adidas HQ!!

I'M WEARING CROCS.. NO SHIT!

When I came home with a box that read Crocs, my brother looked at me with a face pretty much saying "Oh heeeelll no! Heeeeeellllll naaaaaa! Uh uh. You ain't bringin some motherf*ckin Crocs into the house. Girl you mad??"
I don't blame him.

BALCONY SUMMER

It's Sunday, superwarm outside and I've slept off an entire week of fashion week frenzy. Between shows, openings, parties and amazing BBQs, driving a boat across the Spree, carrying shitload amounts of goodie bags, make up appointments, breakfasts, having enough of fashion and regaining my love for fashion, shootings, getting to meet new bloggers and my readers, seeing boring collections and some that blew me away, I think I can say this Fashion Week was good to me and I'm content with the fact that this crazy week has come to end.

THE SKYY SWAPPING SEASON PARTY

One of most exciting events of the year for me personally is the anual Skyy Swapping Party hosted by Designer Scouts probably because one of my very first personal invites came from them to their Sky Swapping Party. I felt very special opening that letter two years ago, okay? ^^ And also because the very first party left quite an impression filled with great memories on me. Unfortunately I missed last years party because of my hair !?!?! (#girlproblems..) So I was all the more excited to be there.

BLOGGER BRUNCH

WINDOWS PHONE 8 PARTY AND PORSCHE DESIGNS LAUNCH

Thursday night Lisa and I headed to the Windows Phone 8 Party which took place at the Lux 11. We played with the new phones from HTC and Nokia and there was even an X-Box to play with and Beats by Dre headphones (seriously want some!).
After that we stopped by the Porsche Design Party which was just around the corner with Ferdinand. Was a really fun night!
I was wearing a total rosé look. The glitter skirt is a present my really good friend Louisa (you've seen her a couple of times on my blog) gave to me for my birthday.

ADIDAS WOMEN STYLE NIGHT

Last Thursday I took my friend Louisa along to the Adidas Women Style Night event that took place at their Münzstraße Store. We were greeted with good drinks, finger food and good music and a crowd radiating good vibes. What more do you need for a good night?

Letzten Donnerstag lud Adidas zur Adidas Women Style Night im Münzstraße Store ein und zusammen mit meiner Freundin Louisa ging ich dorthin. Zum Gruß gabs gute Drinks, Häppchen, Musik und eine gute Stimmung. Was braucht man mehr für eine guten Abend?

KAUF DICH GLÜCKLICH MIT NADINE

Last Saturday I went to Kauf Dich Glücklich with Nadine to trade our all clothes (i.e Missbuys) for Jetons that we'll need for the Skyy Swapping Party.

Letzen Samstag war ich mit Nadine bei Kauf Dich Glücklich um unsere Altkleidung (i.e. Fehlkäufe) abzugeben, damit wir im Gegenzug Jetons für die Skyy Swapping Party erhalten.

BACK IN BERLINO

Hey Guys!!
I'm back in Berlin. I landed this afternoon and was shocked by the weather here. Infact I wanted to hop back on the plane and jet right back to SUNNY HOT Verona - two words that seem to be antonyms to describe this year's summer in Berlin.
I took these pictures outside of the airport just before I had to catch my flight back.

I knew weather in Berlin wasn't going to let my wear my sunhat (unless ofcourse I wanted to look like a fool out of place) but I'm scared to stuff hats into suitcases, you know what I mean?

I'm heading to the cinema in an hour! Time for some quality time with one of my best friends. :D

Hallo ihr lieben!!
Ich bin wieder in Berlin. Ich bin heute Nachmittag angekommen und war sofort schockiert über das Wetter hier. Ehrlich gesagt, wollte ich in den nächsten Flieger springen zum SONNIGEN HEIßEN Verona - zwei Wörter, die wie Antonyme scheinen, um den Sommer dieses Jahres in Berlin zu beschreiben.
Ich wusste, dass das Wetter in Berlin mir nicht erlauben würde meinen Sonnenhut zu tragen (es sei denn, ich würde gern wie ein Trottel am Falschen Ort aussehen wollen), aber ich habe Angst Hüte in Koffer zu stopfen, wisst ihr was ich meine?
Ich gehe gleich ins Kino! Zeit um wieder etwas mit einer meiner besten Freunde zu machen :D
Letztendlich ist es doch schön wieder zu Hause zu sein :)
