THINKING ABOUT SWIM WEAR

Yeah yeah I know it's still very early to be looking at bikinis or swimwear in general but I have been on the look out for them for a while now because I wanna pack a suitcase with cute bikinis for my Abifahrt (which is like a final class trip after the A levels have been completed except the whole year is going instead of a single class) and partly because looking good in a bikini has been my driving motivation for attending gym. Bikini browsing = finding cute bikinis = all the more reason to hit the gym.

To be honest Esprit hasn't been on my mind ever since the invitation to the store opening at Friedrichstraße that I unfortunately couldn't attend because I was out of town. And since then I never found time to visit the store. But being on the look out for good swimwear I like looking at different places. After a little incentive I directed my attention to Esprit. I must say I'm a little surprised I don't shop at Esprit more often, you know, at least for a few key pieces. I'm loving the entire swimwear collection by Esprit. Esprit's swim & beach 2013 collection has great pieces.
Although I'm personally not a big fan of swimsuits one of my favourite pieces from this collection is the black and white swimsuit. It looks so elegant. But I'm also loving the sixities inspired high waisted bikini set. I think the collection is mix of elegant and fun because of the polka dots, mixed with few print and floral pieces.

THE MONOCHROME LOOK

GALERIE LAFAYETTE FASHION SHOW PRINTEMPS / ÉTÉ 2013

I never told you about my very first night a Lafayette. It was pretty magical and ever since then the Galerie Lafayette holds a special place in my memory. Maybe one day I'll come around and talk to you about it, but unfortunately my friend deleted all the pictures from that night.
Anyway about 3 weeks ago Galerie Lafayette invited me for their Printemps/ Été 2013 fashion show inside the Galerie Lafayette. It was a great show and it amazes me every time how such a department store can turn into such a fascinating location for a runway.

RED STRIPES GLITTER SKIRT

Hey Guys,

It's been a while since I posted an outfit post. Winter here in Berlin seems never ending atm and so I'm still walking around in my winter coat. I'm wearing my oversize coat that I bought at Pimkie maybe two years ago for 12€. It's actually not meant to be oversize, but I deliberately chose the coat in size 42 to give it the oversize look. Size 40/42 is my perfect oversize. Any tee/top/T-shirt transforms into a wearable dress for me in size 40. That's how tiny I am haha!

Beginning February I had the pleasure to go bowling with Franklin&Marshall and the team.

AN EXCLUSIVE STYLING SESSION WITH AMERICAN APPAREL S/S 2013

Hey Guys,

Finally found a little time to update you guys! There is so much still left unposted, but don't worry you'll get to see it. All of it! ;)
I had the pleasure to visit the American Apparel store for their exclusive styling session and peek at their upcoming Spring Summer 2013 collection that will be in stores soon. I went through the racks filled with clothes that had just made their journey all the way from L.A. to Berlin, tried on as much as I wanted, whilst my friend Louisa patiently waited skimming through magazines and enjoyed some drinks.
Haaah, I could get used to this!

YOUGHURT DATE WITH JASMIN AND ESRA

Yesterday Jasmin, Esra and me went to check out and treat our taste buds to some froyo at the new Frozen Yoghurt shop called Youghurt, after I was kindly invited by the owner of the place. It's the first self service Frozen Yoghurt place in Berlin.

PRE FASHION WEEK SHOW: KAUFFELD & JAHN COUTURE

Fashion Week for me started with a usual pre-fashion week event: this time I received an invitation to the Kauffeld & Jahn Couture show that took place at the nHow Hotel Berlin.

BERLIN FASHION WEEK A/W 13 INSTA IMPRESSIONS

Fashion Week is over. I enjoyed 4 (5 actually..) really great days with amazing shows, nice after show parties and events, catching up with my amazing people and meeting new ones of course. Can't wait to show you the pictures from all my days and the shows. Can't wait to share the experience with you. But for now, here is a little impression of what my days were like.

PS.: I uploaded the pictures from my phone to my computer.  My iPhone wouldn't let me upload the pictures to my instagram account because of internet problems I have been facing the last couple of weeks. Though as soon as my phone reconnects by itself they'll upload automatically. So don't be confused!

OH-EM-GEE IT'S FASHION WEEK!!

It's probably gonna be the most exciting week for me. I feel like I'm a superagent leading a double life or something. You know: Student by day - Fashionista by night.

I'm kidding.


...Okay that's exactly how I feel. xD

I decided that this season I will only be visiting fashion week part time and the other time I will be a student extra ordinnaire and visit all my classes like a good student is supposed. Not gonna give you the whole school is important talk, but you know, it's important :) And it's my final year. So it's a pretty big deal.

My schedule is crazy this year! So many off site events and parties. So much to coordinate. Unfortunately I won't be going to everything, I've selected a few things I want to see and check out, yet I still feels like a lot. Especially with school in the morning.
I'm looking forward to the G-Star Raw show, Dimitri and Dawid Tomaszweski.

I went shopping today and bought a few pieces I'm gonna wear during fashion week.
It's not like a don't have shitload amounts of clothes. (Actually I don't. But it's not like a have to run around naked..) Suddenly everything seems inadequate and the only thing satisfying my unrest is the thought of new pieces. Thank God it's sale season, otherwise this would have turned out a little costly.

Guess what? I've already been to a pre fashion week fashion show last night! Fashion week has begun!!

Now I'm getting ready for fashion week - last minute preparations, off to classes and then to the official tent for the first time this season! Here we go...

We've all arrived in 2013, but last year again was a year filled with lots of great events for me and there is so much left unsaid, so many post left unpublished. I've gone back to curly messy hair after having twirls for a while.

I'm sorry I haven't been blogging much lately. First of all was the festive season that I spent with my family and friends. I hope you all enjoyed Christmas and had a great New Years Eve. Both were really fun and special this year for me.
But then there were some really bad news. Somebody in my family has passed away. I haven't been feeling like blogging much lately.
For now I've been carrying on with life until realization will hit of what has actually happened. And then it will hit me like a truck.
Life is so unpredictable. We need to cherish every moment of it, because before you know it, it may be gone...
