MBFW BERLIN SS'13: DAY 1

Day one was the busiest of all for me and probably the most exciting. What started out as a half day packed schedule for me turned into a fulltime fashion show filled day in matter of seconds starting 10 o'clock sharp to 8pm. Day one held some of the most interesting names, shows that filled me with expectations and I was not let down. On the contrary I was amazed.
As usual I was running late and luckily bumped into Jana and Sabrina. I had no idea where to go and seeing them take the lead, I followed. And we got lost. xD But cheers to the "let's go missing and trolling around town in search for the freaking fashion week tent" girls!

PRIMARK OPENING

Before I go all fashion week on you, I want to tell you about the Primark opening. Primark finally open its doors to a two story center full of shopping. Along with other bloggers and Primark representatives as well as press, I was invited for the Pre-opening, which meant I was allowed early admission, treated to a breakfast, listened to a speech by the founder of Primark (Kudos to her German skills!) and given a tour of the store, before the official opening at 11. o'clock.
With the 50€ gift voucher I found in my goodie bag I went shop shop shopping! There was no turning back at that point. Haha!
It was nice to see a million familiar blogger faces and the Grayling Team was so kind as usual.

HELLO HEALTHY LIFE!

As you may have seen on my Facebook page, I signed up for the gym. I'm officially enrolled at Superfit and I'm super excited and highly motivated for my new sporty lifestyle. (Hello bikini body!) Okay to be honest I only signed up because of Yoga and Pilates classes.

hahahhahaha x)

But since I'm already there, I might as well do some real workout.. right? :)
I got a little taste of it as I accompanied my neighbour (the coolest neighbour ever) to gym last night. Btw late night gym session are awesome. There is no freaking pumped up ass there and it's like you've got the gym all to yourself.

My first day starts 18th June. Letsss go go go!

WEEKEND NIGHT OUT

This picture of Charlotte and me was taking at the Y/O/U Label release party that took place on Friday. We didn't stay long, instead met up with a friend and went to a bar. To be honest, all you need for a good time are some friends and drinks that taste of Gesichtswasser. A little insider ;)

As far as for the rest of my weekend? Shopped with Paula. I went for a midnight gym session. Visited the Designer Outlet Center Berlin for the first time. Now I'm chilling big time on my bed and watching the sky turn to night...

OUTFIT: BREAD & BUTTER BERLIN 2012

During Fashion Week I found a free minute to check out the Bread&Butter fashion fair. I was really looking forward to come by since the last last visit (read: running through the entire place in search for the G-Star booth for the G-Star Show in attendance of sweet Clemence Poesy and running back out to catch my ride to be escorted back to the fashion week tent for another show) left quite an impression. I went together with Carina and Nisi, who was kind enough to capture my look of the day for me.
The Bread & Butter is a enormous fair with brands like G-Star, Mavi, Desigual, Adidas, Onepiece etc. being represented. It's a street style denim trade show and you must definitely come with loads of time on your hands to check out the fair.

PRIMARK A/W 2012

First thing about Primark's autumn/winter collection: it's great!
I was surprised how fashionable Primark has gotten and how it's keeping up to trend.
Primark is launching 5 collection coming up this autumn/winter with inspiration taken from street style but also bigger designers such as Chloé or Alexander McQueen.

IN HAMBURG WITH BRIGITTE MAGAZINE

So some of you are probably wondering what I was doing on a one day trip again, but this time to Hamburg. Well here's the answer. I was invited by Brigitte Magazine along with 9 other Bloggers for a feature and photo shoot. I've had the luck to be featured in print magazines 3 times before thanks so my fashion week looks, but that was never a feature. So you can imagine my excitement when I hopped onto the train yesterday morning.

NOKIA WINDOWS PHONE MISSION - OPERATION: SECRET CASTLE

After a very loooong bus ride we finally arrived at Schloss Beesenstadt for another edition of a Nokia Windows Phone event, one of the most fun events I've been to. This time it was time for Window Phone Mission Operation: Secret Castle.
I invited Lisa to come along with me and we had major fun after a not so fun 3 hour bus trip and very delicious food. Once again we were handed a Windows Phone, our main tool, to complete challenges and riddles in order to save the internet. As awesome as we are we managed to unlock the password and save the world. After all what would we all be without internet today? ;)

FASHION WEEK IS ARRIVING

Next week is Berlin Fashion Week!!!
I've been having invitations flying in through my mail and inbox over the past few weeks. Some same shows, some new shows, interesting parties (so looking forward to those!) and showrooms.

And I'm already excited :)

GLITTER DRESS

Currently my favourite dress is this sheer blouse glitter skirt combination I received from Sheinside. It's the perfect going out dress, but looks perfectly fine during the day, when combined with my favorite oversize blazer and a day bag.
What do you think of my look? I say glitter can work during the day! ;)

SCHOOL IS OUT, SUMMER IS HERE

Went to Hardenberg Café with my friends right after the school bell rang, a sound I won't be missing for a while.
Okay I'm soooo ready for my 6 weeks of summer holidays. I'm not traveling at all this summer, which is a bit sad. But summer in the city, here in Berlin, can't be that bad...
And then there is fashion week coming up beginning next month. Ah I can't wait!

THE MIND CANDY

Before I left for Italy I told you about a little side project I'm working on. I finally decided to start a tumblr where I can capture everything that inspires me, thoughts or pictures that underline my mood and I named it The Mind Candy. I have been busily reblogging and blogging all things pretty, sexy(Francisco Lachowski) and stylish (Olivia Palermo). I've been totally hooked on tumblr, as I really enjoy it. IN THE BERSHKA CHANGING ROOM WITH MY IPHONE

Just before my Italy trip my friend and I went to do some last minute summer shopping and we found ourselves quite lucky at Bershka. In fact we both wanted to take the entire store home with us. And now I have a major wishlist. From runwaydreamz inspired hot(!) pants to stillettos and dresses, tops and shorts... Bershka is so good atm! If you have time I'll advise you to pop in, you'll want to take home more with you than you can ;) Actually since the opening I haven't been there regularly, I found myself peeking in only 4 or 5 times max since then.
But this is why I was so hot to go there on Saturday..

ADIDAS NEO STYLE BATTLE

Yesterday Susa and I visited the Adidas Neo store, because Adidas Neo invited me to do some styling that would be part of their style battle contest. You can visit any Adidas Neo store (find out the dates of the event before hand!) and participate by styling up an outfit, getting some make up done and taking your picture. This will then be uploaded to facebook and the look with the most likes wins a shopping spree with Emilia Schüle. She's a supercute lady, I met her at the Hamburg opening and I can only remember a positive encounter with her. So you'll be in good hands if you win ;)

THINGS FROM ITALY

I didn't get a lot of things, since I didn't find an awful lot of time to shop anyway. The trip was more consumed of sightseeing and drawing. After all it was an art trip. ;) Nonetheless I did manage to pick up a few pieces on the last day: a few souvenirs for my parents - it's a kitchen set for our new frying pan that only takes wooden cutlery. I had to make sure the set had lemons on it, because they remind me so much of Sorrent, the place we were staying, outside Neapel. This city is filled with lemon trees!
For that reason I got my parents a mini soap scented and shaped in the form of a lemon.
Ofcourse I had to pick up a packet of original Italian shell shaped noodles. :D
Two pairs of sunnies for moi's truly; finally a pair of aviators with a gold frame and completely dark glass and a pair of statement sunnies I knew I had to buy the minute I tried them on.
On top of that I purchased two new neon polishes by cristhal: red and pink. I know in the pictures they look the same, but in reality one really is neon pink and the other red. The red is a little disappointing, it is not as quite as neon as I expected it to be.
Tomorrow I'm back to school for the last few days until summer break. Gosh how time flies! Also I'm heading over to Adidas Neo for a style session! whoop whoop!
But before I have on last exam to write. geez...
