L IS FOR LOIS X MEXX

I've teamed up with Mexx to celebrate the opening of their brand new store in the new Mall of Berlin at Leipziger Platz. Having worked the best job evaaa at LP12 last weekend, I am already a huge fan of the new Mall. It's so big, it's easy to get lost in it for some hours of shopping. There is no store you won't find there.
As for Mexx, it's situated not far from the entrance, perfect. I had a look at their latest collection with their lovely team during the opening. I instantly fell in love with this blouse. Classic, white, and a very timeless cut - elegant yet super cute thanks to the dotted holes as the perfect little detail. It's the beginning of fall and fall beginning always makes me feel like bringing out my all leather pants. In a classic black and white look I combined my new Mexx blouse.

THE NIKE FREE 5.0 PRE-LAUNCH EXPERIENCE

I visited the Nike Free 5.0 Pre Launch experience together with the Nike Team. Everyone was welcome to the event, given that you showed up in any pair of Nike Frees. Luckily I own a pair, my only shoes I use for gym and love ever since I got them. The event was fun! They had a photo wall inspired by the new Nike Free 5.0 campaign, drinks and snacks. You were able to try on the new Nike Free 5.0 and even hit the block for a quick run with one of the trainers in the shoes. I even got to design my own pair of Nike Free 5.0 with Nike ID. It took my forever to design my shoes because of the limitless options and color ways Nike ID offers. But finally I decided on something.
Can't wait to hold my pair in my hands and see the results!
I hope they'll look something like on screen!

THE TAYLOR SWIFT CONCERT VIP EXPERIENCE WITH KEDS

Not too long ago I visited the Taylor Swift concert here in Berlin's O2 Arena as Keds' special guest among Anni, Vreni, Mauri, Jan and a few media representatives. Keds invited us to come enjoy ourselves into their exclusive VIP Box (which is like a master suite of a hotel!) from where we had the best seats (they were even cushioned!) and had the entire O2 World in sight with just one glance. We were treated to delicious food and appetizers, great caesars salad and dessert, from which I had at least 10 - not kidding. And the champagne kept flowing as well. And shoes, lots and lots of shoes spread across the VIP Box, all from the upcoming SS2014 collection.

FASHION WEEK IS NOT ALL ABOUT RUNWAY SHOWS AND SITTING FRONTROW

The first thing that probably comes to your mind when hearing the word Fashion Week is a.) Models strutting the catwalk in the latest collection of huge designers with socialites and stars sitting front row dying for the first look to come out and saddened when the lights go off as the last look descends the runway b.) Streetstyle photogs hoarding infront of the tent waiting for Cara Delevingne and Karlie Kloss to pose for their cameras c.) Anna Wintour. Oh and let's not forget d) Parties, goodie bags and more parties.

Note: This however does not apply to Berlin Fashion Week. We got ex Dschungel Camp contestants and DSDS stars sitting Frontrow. And our biggest designers are bailing on Berlin Fashion Week. (Where is Hugo Boss? Where is Michalsky?) Oh well..

GEOX ON TOUR STOPS IN BERLIN WITH FACEHUNTER

Last week the #GEOXONTOUR made a stop in Berlin and the store at Friedrichstraße momentarily turned into a shoe heaven for all invited bloggers as we were allowed to choose from any pair in the entire store to take home with. Shoe boxes everywhere and girls trying on a million pairs while Dandy Diary handled the DJ Set - pretty much last weeks scenario. Meanwhile Yvan Rodic aka Facehunter, possibly one of the most famous streetstyle photographers was there to present his streetstyle book and snap some of the guests for GEOX. On the side note: I have been facehuntered before. Very funny picture actually...

Anyway I was kinda going back and forth between choosing the love of my life (the most perfect shoe - it was love at first sight) and being reasonable (boots for winter. kinda in desperate need of those.). I spent probably an hour doing what I do best: being indecisive, when deep down I know damn well what I want and how the story's gonna unfold.

UGG BOOTS ROWLAND: THE MILITARY STYLE

I'm back from the Adidas Showroom which pretty much was like a party between clothes coming up for next season. That DJ? Helllo? Awesomest music ever! Plus I picked up your Selena NEO pullover you can win in my Birthday Box giveaway. The Adidas teams are always open and it's always great to chat with them. Such cool people! After that I headed to Micheal Kors to support their #WatchHungerStop initiative in honour of World Food Day.
Anyway I wanted to show you my first look combining my Ugg Boots. It's getting super chilled lately in Berlin and it's time for fall. I picked out my full leather trousers my mom once got me maybe years ago (one of the few things she brought home and I actually loved xD), which I must admit have completely lost their fit and look baggy in some pictures. However I'm kinda digging that and I'm considering getting baggy leather pants that are meant to be baggy ever since I saw a pic of Kim Kardashian sporting some and actually looking quite fit. Anyone else noticed how rad her style has gotten ever since she started dating Kanye??
I think leather goes so well with my new UGGs. You'll probably be seeing more of that combo.
Anyway I'm so ready for bed.. Press Days start tomorrow and I got a few appointments and on top of that I'm looking forward to checking out some PRs here in Berlin.

THEOPHILUS LONDON IN CONCERT FOR FASHIONATION BY PEEK & CLOPPENBURG

Okay so ever since I started my blog I've been luckily enough to attend so many amazing events, but some of them feel special and one of those kind of nights was last Tuesday. Theophilus London was in town for a privat concert held in honour of the Fashion Department by P&C sponsored by Disaronno.
The night was simply amazing. I had the best time of my life with my bestie Louisa and I was so happy to be joined by Lisa, Defne, Dogi and Luca. The music was beyoooond and we were dancing like there's no (school) tomorrow. So when Theophilus London played Louisa's and my favourite song, Big Spender, we naturally went off.

MBFW BERLIN SS'13: DAY 1

Day one was the busiest of all for me and probably the most exciting. What started out as a half day packed schedule for me turned into a fulltime fashion show filled day in matter of seconds starting 10 o'clock sharp to 8pm. Day one held some of the most interesting names, shows that filled me with expectations and I was not let down. On the contrary I was amazed.
As usual I was running late and luckily bumped into Jana and Sabrina. I had no idea where to go and seeing them take the lead, I followed. And we got lost. xD But cheers to the "let's go missing and trolling around town in search for the freaking fashion week tent" girls!

WALD STORE PRESENTS ZEITGESCHMACK

My lovely friend Jan invited me to celebrate the launch of his new blog Zeitgeschmack that he co-writes with other bloggers. The event was hosted at the Wald Store and we had the chance to talk to people sharing the same passion for fashion, enjoy drinks and yummy cookies (!) or Bretzeln and Muffins.
I was happy to see Jan again, but unfortunately missed a reunion with Dustin and Josie, because Jasmin dragged me to a 'fashion show' that turned out to be a presentation of Italian Designers. Pictures of the second event right this way, but for now enjoy the Wald x Zeitgeschmack pictures.

Mein lieber Jan lud mich zum Launch seines neuen Blogs Zeitgeschmack, den er mit weiteren Bloggern schreibt, ein. Das Event fand im Wald Store statt und wir hatten die Chance mit anderen mode-interessierten zu plaudern, Drinks zu genießen und leckere Cookies(!) oder Brezeln und Muffins zu verzehren.
Ich war froh Jan mal wieder zu sehen, aber leider hab ich ein Wiedersehen mit Dustin und Josie verpasst, da mich Jasmin zu einer 'Fashion Show' mitgeschleppt hatte, dass sich dann als eine Presentation von italienischen Designer entpuppte. GRAZIA AND GLAMOUR STYLENIGHT EVENTS

Tonight was the GRAZIA Stylenight event with P&C. I was originally planning on going there with Nisi and Chi. But we ended up not going because of the chaos for the big deal confirmation mail created by GRAZIA.

Somehow Nisi and Chi didn't get the confirmation mail. I did but I must have deleted it admidst all the spam and so I contacted GRAZIA the day before the event asking if it was much of a problem showing up without the printed version of the mail. Honestly, I wouldnt have noticed my mail missing, if I didn't wake up thinking, "Shit is the event today or tomorrow?!". I do this kinda stuff 2 minutes before my bus comes while I'm already 20 minutes late xD. L is for Last-Minute :P

I wrote to them on Facebook, Twitter & their e-mail. On Facebook they told me to write them an e-mail with my data. I did and never got an answer. Nisi did, but they kept answering with stuff like "Places are limited bla bla bla" Yeah, that wasn't the question. That's really poor service. Like really poor.

So we did lose interrest in going. And actually I wasnt feeling to brilliant either.

Nevermind! I'm going to Glamour Shopping event with MANGO! Whoop ! Whoop! My favourite magazine, my favourite shop. And we dont need to print a stupid confirmation letter. They've got the guestlist. ;)

Heute war die Stylenight mit GRAZIA und P&C. Eigentlich wollte Nisi, Chi und ich zusammen hingehen, aber haben es uns dann doch nicht angetan mit dem ganzen Rummel  von GRAZIA um die so wichtigen Bestätigungsmails.

Irgendwie haben Nisi und Chi keine Mail bekommen. Ich hatte zwar eine, aber die muss ich mit dem ganzen Spam gelöscht haben. Ich habe dann Grazia ein Tag vor dem Event gefragt ob es denn so schlimm ist ohne der ausgedruckten Version zu kommen. Ehrlich gesagt wäre mir das auch gar nicht aufgefallen, wäre ich nicht mit dem Gedanken aufgewacht, "Scheiße ist das Event morgen oder heute?!" Ich drucke so was immer 2 Minuten bevor mein Bus kommt, während ich eh schon 20 Minuten zu spät bin aus xD L is for Last-Minute :P

Ich habe ihnen auf Facebook, twitter und an ihre Mail geschrieben. Auf Facebook haben die mir gesagt, ich solle nocheinmal eine E-mail mit meinen Daten schicken. Ich habe nie eine Antwort erhalten. Nisi schon, aber die haben immer so was gesagt von wegen "Plätze sind begrenzt bla bla bla" Ja ach, war ja auch nicht die Frage. Armes Service. Sehr armes service.

Wir haben dann unser Interesse verloren. Und ehrlich gesagt gings mir nicht so brilliant.

Scheiß drauf! Wir gehen zum Glamour Event mit MANGO! Whoop! Whoop! My Lieblingsmagazin. Mein Lieblingsshop. Und wir müssen diesen dummen Brief auch nicht ausdrucken. Die haben eine Gästeliste ;)
