EXPLORING ROOFTOPS

Hey Guys!
Shortly before I left for my Easter holidays, I met up with Sophie and we discovered the roof top at her house. I wanted to keep this look pretty simple. I'm wearing a Motel Rocks dress, that I was allowed to choose. And believe me this dress is beyond gorgeous! I'll show you different outfit pictures, where I can show off the back detail of that dress. Sadly it was way to windy to remove the jacket. And walking around without stockings was really a bad idea, even if only for the pictures x)
Sophie's brother took the pictures of us.
Can't wait to get up that roof in summer!

Hey ihr Lieben!
Kurz bevor ich nach England flog, traf ich mich mit Sophie und gemeinsam entdeckten wir das Dach bei ihr zu Hause. Bei diesem Look wollte ich es sehr simple angehen. Ich trage ein Motel Rocks Kleid, dass ich mir aussuchen durfte. Und glaubt mir, dieses Kleid ist unglaublich schön! Ich zeige euch noch andere Outfitbilder, in denen ich euch das Rückendetail des Kleides richtig zeigen kann. Leider war es viel zu windig um die Jacke auszuziehen. Und dass ich ohne Strumpfhose dort oben posierte, war auch eine Schnappsidee, auch wenn nur "kurz" für die Bilder. x)
Sophies Bruder hat die Bilder von uns gemacht.
Freu mich schon im Sommer aufs Dach zu klettern!

GRAZIA STYLE NIGHT

Here are the pictures from the Grazia Style Night that took place a while back. I haven't been able to share them with you, but here they are. I wore my new Zara shoes, THE Zara shoes (remember the story?) out for the first time that night. And they are really comfy. Still got a pair for anyone who wants them!
Anyway, I'm back home after a day of horror at London Luton airport, a little stressed and deprived of sleep, but happy to be home again. Tonight I'm going to the Drake concert with my friend. Excited much! :) Last time we went to a concert together it was a hell lot of fun :D Hoping today will even better!

Hier sind die Bilder der Grazia Style Night, die schon etwas länger her zurück liegt. Ich bin vorher nicht dazu gekommen, sie mit euch zu teilen, aber hier sind sie jetzt. Ich hab meine neuen Zara Schuhe, DIE Zara Schuhe (erinnert ihr euch?), zum ersten Mal ausgeführt. Und sie waren ziemlich gemütlich. Hab immer noch ein Paar übrig für jeder, der sie mag!
Jedenfalls bin ich wieder zu Hause nach einem Tag voller Horror am London Luton Flughafen, etwas gestresst und schlafgeraubt, aber froh endlich wieder daheim zu sein. Heute Abend geh ich aufs Drake Konzert mit meiner Freundin. Aufgeregt! :) Letztes Mal als wir zusammen auf einem Konzert waren, hatten wir unglaublich viel Spaß :D Hoffe heute wird sogar noch besser!

THE HOLLISTER BIRD HAS LANDED IN BERLIN

Hollister opened its first ever store in Berlin and I have to admit I was gutted to miss the event. I mean, who wouldn't be gutted missing half naked lifeguards running around? ;) Especially when many of them happen to be people you know! Visiting friends at work I think is always funny. Visiting friends running around half naked at work can only be hilarious.
I'm looking forward to visiting the store once I get back from holiday. I'm probably most excited for Hollister's checked shirts, their cute shorts and especially the comfy leisure wear, all embossed with the little Hollister Bird.
From now on it's "Welcome to the Pier!" ;)

Hollister hat seinen allerersten Store in Berlin eröffnet und ich muss gestehen, ich war ziemlich enttäuscht, dass ich das Event verpassen musste. Ich meine, wer wäre nicht enttäuscht halbnackte Lifeguards verpassen zu müssen? ;) Besonders wenn man zufälligerweise viele von denen kennt! Freunde bei der Arbeit zu besuchen ist immer ganz lustig. Freunde, die halbnackt bei der Arbeit rumrennen, zu besuchen, kann ja nur witziger sein.
Ich freue mich schon den Store zu besuchen, sobald ich wieder in Berlin bin. Am meisten freue ich mich wahrscheinlich auf Hollisters karierten Hemden, die süßen Shorts und besonders auf die gemütlichen Jogginghosen und Pullis, alles verziert mit dem kleinen Hollister Vogel.
Ab jetzt heißt es"Welcome to the Pier!" ;)

MINIATURE UPDATE FROM MY LIFE

Right now I'm blogging from England. A few days back I was in Northampton visiting my cousin with my brother and mother and right now I am in Leicester to visit my uncle.


I watched The Hunger Games and I loved it!
Though I don't really understand the comparisons with Twilight. Children slaughtering each other and a girl falling in love with a Vampire does not exactly strike me as similar. Or is it just the crazy ass fans, the hype and hysteria that are being compared? I know for a fact that Twilight fans are mental, I haven't checked out The Hunger Games fan base, so I can't really comment on that. Either way if you get time to check out the movie, you should. :)


Anyway, more ground breaking news is that I FINALLY watched Easy A starring Emma Stone. ADORE. I love the fact that Olive (who on earth calls their daughter Olive??! Haha!) is just an everyday girl making fun of high school's primitive mentality but finding herself being caught in the middle of lies with good intentions.
Btw how hot fit, as British would say, does Lonely Boy aka Penn Badgley look in that movie??


Which reminds me I caught the latest episode of GossipGirl today. All I can say is that if there was underwear with Team Ivy or Team Van Der Woodsen/Upper East Side Bitches I'd be wearing Team Ivy right now. I'm developing a great dislike for the Upper East Side's behaviour, so you can't exactly blame me for bursting out laughing when Da Realz Gossip Girl dissed Serena. buuurrrn!

Most disappointing thing today was opening my suitcase, ready to jump into my Onepiece and get all snuggly, but having to realize I left it at home. I LEFT IT AT HOME!!!!! Bummer! England of all countries should be the home of Onepiece wearers. No weather calls more for snuggly cozy lazy days in bed in a Onepiece than here. I think I'll never be able to live in England permanently, because as a matter of fact I'd spend nearly everyday inside feeling too unmotivated to leave the house due to weather. I checked the forecast, no surprises.
Whats a snuggly day without a Onepiece? Exactly! Not snuggly at all.


Mid Season Sale!! Keeping my fingers crossed mid season sale has hit England too. On my shopping list: Topshop and Primark. The classics I guess.


I'm dying to catch Project X with my friends in cinema. I hope it'll be out by the time I'm back. I sense it's going to be the most epic movie of all times - all times!! (credits to Kanye here) after Hangover. (Or maybe even before Hangover? ;) ) Check out the trailer and you'll know why! :)


Berlin got it's first Hollister store! So sad I had to miss the event, one of many this week. I found out that there are several people I know working there. The world is so small!

Last Thursday I took my friend Louisa along to the Adidas Women Style Night event that took place at their Münzstraße Store. We were greeted with good drinks, finger food and good music and a crowd radiating good vibes. What more do you need for a good night?

Letzten Donnerstag lud Adidas zur Adidas Women Style Night im Münzstraße Store ein und zusammen mit meiner Freundin Louisa ging ich dorthin. Zum Gruß gabs gute Drinks, Häppchen, Musik und eine gute Stimmung. Was braucht man mehr für eine guten Abend?

TODAY'S LOOK

It was a bit chilled today, so I wore my oversized coat again with my new favourite scarf.
I had an extremely short day (only 2 lessons) at school today for which I didn't even need any school material, that's why I'm not carrying a school bag. We were only going to listenen to a presentations, figured I might as well leave my bag at home.

Heute war es wieder etwas kälter, also hab ich meinen Mantel wieder rausgekramt und dazu meinen neuen Lieblingsschal kombiniert. Ich hatte heute einen sehr kurzen Schultag (nur 2 Stunden) und dafür brauchte ich nicht einmal Schulmaterial, aus diesem Grund ließ ich einfach meine Schultasche zu Hause. Heute sollten wir uns nur eine Presentation anhören, das war es dann auch schon für den Tag.

SUNDAY IN MY ONEPIECE

I was gifted this lovely Onepiece during the opening and it's the first time I've worn it out. It's not the first time I'm wearing it. I survived winter thanks to this piece, I swear I was practically living in it.

Zur Eröffnung bekam ich diesen Onepiece geschenkt und heute haben ich ihn zum ersten Mal draußen getragen. Es ist nicht das erste Mal, dass ich ihn trage. Ich habe den Winter, dank dieses Stückes, überstanden, ich schwöre ich habe so gut wie darin gelebt.

As promised, even when belated, here are my recent (if we can pretend nearly a month is recent *cough*) buys from the sales that are now already over as shops prepare to bring in spring/summer collections.
I found pieces for some pretty good deals and that one dress I had given up all hope I would ever own.
Sales can be magical - or disappointing (considering your fav pieces are mostly only available in sizes 40 and up). Mine was rather bargainius.

Sunday afternoon I paid a visit to the Zalando Pop Up Store. What I noticed immediately (next to the delicious scent of crépes creeping up my nose, that reminded my stomach suddenly had lots of space for those French ultra thin version of pancakes and the quirky store design, I thought was totally adorable) was the color palette of this seasons Zalando Collection.

Sonntagnachmittag besuchte ich den Zalando Pop Up Store. Was mir sofort beim betreten des Stores auffiel (außer dem leckeren Geruch von Crépes, der meine Nase hoch kroch, und meinen Bauch daran erinnerte, dass er plötzlich ganz viel Platz für diese französische ultra dünne Version des Pfannkuchen hatte und dem quirky Store Design, dass ich total süß fand) war die Farbpalette der diesjährigen Zalando Collection.
Pasteltöne und neonfarbende Akzente. I like!

MARNI FOR H&M - THE COLLECTION AND MY FAVOURITES

In loooooove! I'm not gonna lie to you, I was definitely anticipating more sneak peaks at H&M's Marni collaboration the closer it got to the releasing date, but I certainly wasn't expecting to like it this much. I was more on the look out for the accessoires, especially the necklaces. And they did not let me down, although these are not the usual Marni necklaces as I was expecting.

Verlieeeeebbt! Ich werde euch nicht anlügen, ich habe schon heiß darauf gewartet, ein paar Blicke auf H&M's Marni Kollaboration zu erhaschen, um so näher es dem Erscheinungsdatum kam, aber ich habe sicherlich nicht erwartet die Kollektion so sehr zu mögen. Besonders weil ich es eh nur auf die Accesoires abgesehen hatte, vor allem die Ketten. Und ich bin nicht enttäuscht, auch wenn es nicht die Marni Ketten sind, die ich erwartet hatte.

Back then I would have never thought we’d see each other again, let alone think that one day we’d become good friends and through blogging of all things, meet again, bond and experience an entire fashion week together. <3

Es ist krass, wenn ich daran denke, dass wir uns eigentlich schon aus der Kindheit kennen von Kindergeburtstagen meiner Kindergarten besten Freundin. Damals hätte ich nicht gedacht, dass wir uns je wieder sehen würden und dann auch noch eines Tages als gute Freunde enden. ich hätte nicht gedacht, dass wir uns durchs Bloggen vor allen Dingen, wieder treffen, anfreunden und eine gesamte Fashion Week zusammen erleben würden. <3

CREAM PERFECTION

Totally inspired right this minute by cream, bum bags and black simple strappy heels. Those shoes are by Zara. I should save up for those, because in my eyes they are timeless - pure simple perfection.
If bum bags (what a ridiculous name?!?) would have always looked this glamourous as opposed to this, I would have never said that bum bags are the ugliest piece of crap on planet. This is the way to wear it I'd wear it!
Then again The Row did managed to change my attitude towards backpacks AND even that I would fall in love with a backpack. Well, not any backpacks, this one to be exact. The best thing, I always thought, was ridding myself from much hated backpacks (4YOU remember those?? HAHA) during my transition from primary school to high school.
Who knew I'd actually like a backpack. Well here I am actually loving a bum bag. I shouldn't be too surprised. Cheers to The Row, mesdames Mary Kate and Ashley & cream combined with the simplicity of black strappy heels.

Total inspiriert jetzt genau von der Farbe creme, Bauchtaschen und schwarze simpele Strappy Heels. Diese Schuhe sind von Zara. Ich sollte für die sparen, denn in meinen Augen sind sie zeitlos - pure simpele Perfektion.
Hätten Bauchtaschen immer so glamorös ausgesehen im Gegensatz zu dies, hätte ich nie gesagt, dass Bauchtaschen die hässlichste Scheiße der Welt ist. So sollte man würde ich sie tragen!
Dann wiederum hat The Row es auch geschafft meine Einstellung gegenüber Rucksäcken zu ändern UND sogar, dass ich mich in Rucksäcke verliebe. Naja, nicht irgendwelche Rucksäcke, dieser um präzise zu sein. Das Beste, dachte ich immer, war, dass ich mich von den so gehassten Rucksäcken (4YOU kennt ihr die noch?? HAHA) trennen konnte, während meines Umstiegs von Grundschule zur Oberschule.
Wer hätte gedacht, dass ich einen Rucksack irgendwann wieder mögen würde. Nun ja, hier stehe ich und liebe eine Bauchtasche. Ich sollte nicht so überrascht sein. Cheers to The Row, mesdames Mary Kate und Ashley & creme in Kombination mit der Schlichtheit von schwarzen Strappy Heels.

ZARA. Da ich mich ja oft in der Männerabteilung bediene (meistens Pullis), sehe ich nicht, warum ich mich denn nicht auch bei den Schuhen bedienen sollte. Die sind zwar aus der Zara Frauen Abteilung, aber erinnern doch stark an ein Herrenpaar.
