CHRISTMAS SPIRIT WITH FOREVER 21 + GIVEAWAY (CLOSED)

Oh Christmas season I'm beginning to like you a lot, a lot more than I already do! Ok confession time:
I've never had a Christmas sweater. Ever. Not because my grandma can't sow, but in Ghana a Christmas is the last thing my grandma would be thinking about. I don't know but if I was a grandma in Africa I'd probably be making handmade Christmas Flip Flops for my grandkids or so.

Since Forever 21 wanted to indulge me in the spirits and traditions of the one true original Ugly Christmas sweater, they invited me to have fun in their X-Mas workshop admits a small group of classy yet sassy enough for the good ol' Christmas sweater fashion bloggers such as Ebba freaking Zingmark, who is even prettier in reality. Her Lookbook.nu fairytale pictures hardly do her any justice. With Glühwein and cookies and christmas music, the early evening felt perfect. And my create-shit-game was strong.

#LIVEINLEVIS PROJECT LAUNCHES IN BERLIN WITH A BEAUTIFUL SUMMER AFTERNOON

Last Thursday with Levi's felt like a perfect end to summer. The sun was back out, it was the beginning of Berlin Festival and Levi's invited us to the Oberhafenkantine (huuuge yard with a cute little wooden house and a glass house) to celebrate the launch of Levi's latest project: #LiveInLevis. The campaign features so many different people - people with different backgrounds - artist, dancers, barbers, singers, social media managers, Alexandra from 4thandbleeker (<3) in an image trailer whose lives couldn't be more unalike. It follows them in their Levi's as they uncover their tales. The trailer itself is pretty inspiring. But that's not all, if you visit your local Levi's Store, you'll discover more #LiveInLevis stories from local characters. The Berlin Kudamm store got a makeover from none other than the dudes from Dandy Diary & Jessie from Journelles.com.

BETWEEN PEPE JEANS AND LEVIS

If you are reading this I'm either finishing of some uni stuff (starts next week. Nay!!) or I'm on my way to work at the final show of Face of Africa Germany that's going down tonight.
Last week, between our appointments Jacky and I took a minute to capture our outfits. I usually show you my outfit in the same event post, but I was dressed in so many different clothes that day plus we found a really nice spot by the water not far from the Pepe Jeans Showroom. All the more reason to make this a separate post. We were really lucky last week, the weather decided to be on its best behaviour. I'm not even wearing tights!

The Studded Gift Box


It's only 7 or 8 day until Christmas, depending on when you celebrate!! Ohh --emmm--geee! Most of you have probably been busily shopping. (Not me.) And presents need to be packed, but today we'll do it a bit differently. I found this cute gift box at Nanu Nana and thought, "Cute box, how handy for packing presents!" But since I'm really into studs at the moment, I wanted to give the box a little makeover, which resulted in the "Studded Gift Box".
It's a really easy DIY and sometimes less is more. Below the step by step how to.

Weihnachten steht vor der Tür und die meisten haben bereits fleißig Geschenke für Familie und Freunde gekauft. Und Geschenke müssen auch verpackt werden, aber heute wird mal anders verpackt. Diese süße Geschenkbox habe ich bei Nanu Nana entdeckt, und dachte mir “Hmm ist doch recht praktisch, um Geschenke einzupacken und sieht auch noch gut aus.” Aber da ich zur Zeit im Studs- Fieber bin, habe ich der kleinen Box ein Makeover verpasst. Rauskam die “Studded Gift Box”. Super, wenn man so eine Niete im Geschenkeverpacken ist wie ich! Pun intended. Dieses DIY ist auch recht simple. Tja weniger ist eben manchmal doch mehr. After the Premium Young Designer Awards I wanted to go for a last minute Fashion Week Shopping to cure my "What the hell should I wear"- madness aka WTHSIW?!?!. I was crossing the Street at Friedrichstraße and bumped into Jason and his cute friend Ayie! He stopped me for a quick Streetstyle shoot :) Later I went to pick up a camera, the famous Diana, at the Lomography shop for Fashion Week.

Nach den Premium Young Designer Awards wollte ich noch einmal last minute shoppen gehen für die Fashion Week um meine "What the hell should I wear"- Krankheit aka WTHSIW?!?! zu beseitigen. Als ich die Straße überquerte, rannte ich zufälligerweise in Jason und seinem süßen Freund Ayie! Der stoppte mich dann für ein kurzes Streetstyle Shooting :) Später ging ich noch zum Lomography Store, um mir die bekannte Diana für die Fashion Week abzuholen.

Last Night I went to the Glamour & Mango Stylenight event with my friend Lexia and Nisi and Chi. I also met some new lovely bloggers from Berlin. Andy was around too, she was super nice. Had a little chat with her whiles she was busy styling others.
Us lucky girls (and women and men ) had the privilege to shop the new collection with 30% off to loud music, enjoy some makeover from Artdeco and eat ice cream from Häagen Dazs with drinks as much as the heart desired. People, we all know Häagen Dasz is good, but Strawberry Shortcake from Häagen Dasz is heaven! My new flavour love. :) What's your fav flavour?
It was pretty crowded, especially in the line. But us girls had a lovely time.
There was a little Goodie Bag  from Mango with a lipgloss from Artdeco and a keyholder from Jules Mumm. Sadly the Artdeco lipgloss color is not made for me.

Gestern Abend bin ich zur Glamour & Mango Stylenight mit meiner Freundin Lexia und Nisi und Chi gegangen. Ich habe auch neue liebe Blogger aus Berlin getroffen. Andy war auch da, sie war super lieb. Hab etwas mit ihr geredet während sie fleißig andere stylte.
Wir glücklichen Mädchen (und Frauen und Männer) hatten das Privileg, die neue Kollektion mit 30% Rabatt zur lauten Musik zu shoppen, ein Makeover von Artdeco und Eis von Häagen Dazs mit Getränken zu genießen, so viel, wie das Herz begehrte. Leute, wir wissen alle wie gut Häagen Dazs Eis ist, aber Strawberry Shortcake von Häagen Dazs ist ein Traum!
Meine neue Lieblingssorte :) Was ist eure Lieblingssorte?
Es war ziemlich voll, besonders in der Schlange. Aber wir Mädchen hatten eine super Zeit.
Es gab auch eine Goodie Bag von Mango mit einem Lipgloss von Artdeco und ein Schlüsselanhänger von Jules Mumm. Leider ist die Lipglossfarbe nicht für mich geschaffen.
Vielleicht mach ich ja bald ein kleines Gewinnspiel... ;)
