Unfortunately there's no animated iPod today. All my songs I've chosen for the playlist can't be played with mixpod, because all have denied embedding, on youtube! All! Every single version of the songs. So annoying! And mixpod works only with songs/videos from youtube. :(

I’ve noticed that some of my post have no content or are not complete! I’m really sorry about that. I don’t know why it’s like that, but all I can say is that that is crap. You waiting for my highly anticipated post just to get nothing. JK. Highly anticipated? Who do I think I am? xP. No, but I want to make it up to my little readers. NEW BOOTIES

I went shopping for shoes today. I’ve been looking for a new pair of boots, because mine are broken and in no way acceptable to use anymore. I didn’t find the boots today, (I always need the perfect shoe, a shoe that I 100% love, when I’m buying them. But who doesn’t know this? ;) The shoe is okay, but… I like the shoe but…) but took this pair of booties with instead. 
They’re surprisingly warm and really comfy. They are lined to the inside, that bit of fur you see, is in the entire shoe. Not like most shoes, that have it merely for decorating purpose and are not warm at all, like one is deceived at first sight. The height is perfect, not too low and not too high. Just the right height for a whole day in heels. Can’t wait to wear them out already!

I got them for a really good deal too, 20€. They are from a no name shop somewhere around the Kudamm. I just realized that till today I don’t know that name of the shop! But when me and my girls talk about it, we know what we are talking about. Haha :)

I still need to look for boots though. Thinking about buying a cheap pair of fake Uggs for the mean time.

Great News: I’ve been featured on the Polyvore blog!!! My wishlist set was featured in their recent post. It totally made my day when I saw that I’ve been featured. The are some really great sets featured on the official polyvore blog. To see my set featured makes me feel honoured, especially because I’m pretty new in the polyvore world. I’ve only created 3 sets for far, one of which has been featured!

Ich war heute Schuhe kaufen. Ich suche schon seit einer Weile nach neuen Stiefeln, weil meine kaputt sind, so definitiv nicht mehr getragen werden können. Ich habe heute keine Stiefel gefunden, (Ich suche immer die perfekten Schuhe, Schuhe die ich 100% liebe, wenn ich Schuhe kaufe. Aber wer kennt das nicht? Der Schuh ist okay aber... Ich mag den Schuh aber.. ) aber habe stattdessen ich diese mitgenommen.
 Sie sind überraschend warm und wirklich gemütlich. Sie sind gefüttert, das bisschen Fell, dass man sieht, ist im ganzen Schuh. Nicht wie die meisten Schuhe, die dass nur zur Deko haben und kein bisschen warm sind, wie man auf dem ersten Blick denken würde.  Die Höhe ist perfekt, nicht zu hoch, nicht zu tief.  Perfekt für einen ganzen Tag in Heels. Kann gar nicht warten sie endlich draußen zu tragen!

Ich hab sie für einen guten Preis bekommen, 20€. Sie sind von einem no name Laden am Kudamm. Mir ist gerade aufgefallen, dass ich bis heute nicht weiß, wie der Laden heißt! Aber wenn meine Freunde und ich darüber reden, wissen wir alle welcher Laden gemeint ist. Haha :)

Ich brauch trozdem noch Stiefel. Überlege ob ich mir vorübergehend einfach ein paar billige Uggs kaufe.

Tolle Neuigkeiten: Ich würde auf dem Polyvore blog gefeatured!!! Mein wishlist set wurde in deren letzten Post gefeatured. Das hat mich total glücklich gemacht, als ich das gesehen hab. Es gibt wirklich gute sets auf dem offiziellen Polyvore blog. Ich fühle mich geehrt, mein set da zu sehen, besonders weil ich neu in der Polyvore Welt bin. Ich habe bis jetzt nur 3 sets erstellt, und eins davon wurde gefeatured!

NEW YEARS RESO... WHATEVER! THE SPECIAL TO DO LIST :)

I know it's already the 6th of January. So what? :D I usually don't take this new year's resolution thing so seriously. After all most of the things we write on our list, we don't actually do them. But I thought about what I want to change this year and ended up realizing, that this actually is new year's resolution. But I still like to call it my special to do list :)

• First of all the usual stuff: be better in school, tidy my room, healthy diet, start sports... bla bla bla. (I'm actually more serious than I'm sounding about this :)  I do want to change )

• Keep up with my diary. It's the first time I'm actually doing a diary. I've had one before, when I was six. It started out with "Dear Diary. I'm so glad I have you. I will always write into you and share lots of stories. Your Lois" And that's how it ended. I've attempted keeping diary 2 more times after that. Then I realized I'm just crap at that. This time I'm serious. No, I'm serious serious.

• But above all I want to see my blog grow, flourish and become an inspiration for others. I want to do much more of outfit posts and focus a little more around fashion and style. I've only been touching the topics that I have in mind of really blogging about. More of NOTDs, OOTDs, Style, Make up, what makes me tick...I actually really want this to become a fashion blog with extras. Right now it's extras with a little fashion. Yeah, I don't blame you if you don't really see the fashion part. But believe my I have lots in mind. Also I'm still transforming the blog. But there are a few changes. See if you can spot them :)

BURLESQUE PREVIEW SCREENING

Last night I went to the Preview Screening of Burlesque. I had won two tickets to it via Glamour (magazine) a few days before. I have never won a thing on a giveaway and then free tickets to the preview?!! I was so happy. When I went to see The Tourist a week ago, I actually saw the trailer and thought "Hmm that looks interesting...".Never would have guessed then that I'd be sitting in the preview screening a week later.
Life can be so sweet sometimes :)

I took Claire, my cinema buddy (yes, it's her, the girl I camped out with at the cinema last Sunday :D ), along. We were 15 minutes late because Claire couldn't make it on time, as usual. Normally this would be totally okay, because there's always tons of advert. But thanks to Glamour (or is it just common that Previews do not show advert?) there was no advert. I was like: "No advert? How cool! Oh right this means we've actually missed 15 minutes of the film". *ruuuun*
Yes I'm used to 20 - 30 minutes of advert and the ice cream man popping on when I go to the cinema. (It's like that at the Sony Center. I usually go to Sony Center)

This whole event was at the UCI Colosseum. I think it's the most beautiful cinema I've been to. It has this really nice look and homey feeling. I've never been there before. I'd make this my number one destinations for viewing movies, but unfortunately it screens only in German. I prefer to watch in English, because I think voice-overs are crap, jokes are lost and the original is just better.
At the cinema Glamour had a stand and they actually had a guestlist. Haha. Felt like I was going to a club. But they actually rented out one of the cinema halls and was exclusive to lucky Glamour winners :)

The movie was fantastic. If there's a boring bit, I missed it. Exactly when we came in the movie began began. You know when movies begin but dont really begin until 30 minutes have passed? If that was the case then I'm lucky to have missed the first 15 minutes. Haha :D But do tell me if I missed something once you've seen the movie. And you should definitely see it.
It's sexy and it's smoking hot. And so is Cam Gigandet ;) (that picture of him above does him no good!) I wasn't much of a fan of him in Twilight (he is the bad-ass vampire, James) I don't fancy that long hair style he had going on. He looks so much better with the short hair. But boy, he has a very fine body. So fit. And Christina has a voice of a killer. For a singer she did a good job with the acting. She and Cam were a very sexy couple, they had an amazing chemistry.(Wonder if that’s why she’s filing a divorce ;) )

I really enjoyed the movie. Oh and I see the "Art" of Burlesque now with very different eyes. Has so much more class to me now. I used to think it's just as bad as a strip club with 2 cent hookers.

I got a goody bag after the movie. How cool is that? I get to see the movie for free, before everyone else (in Germany) AND I get a goody bag :) It included :

Gestern war ich bei der Preview von Burlesque. Vor ein paar Tagen habe ich zwei Karten via Glamour (Magazine) gewonnen. Ich habe noch nie etwas bei einem Gewinnspiel gewonnen und dann Freikarten zur Preview?!! Ich war so glücklich! Als ich The Tourist vor einer Woche gesehen hab, lief der Trailer und da dachte ich mir "Hmm sieht interessant aus...". Hätte nie gedacht, dass ich eine Woche später bei der Preview sitzen würde.
Das Leben kann manchmal so süß sein :)

Ich hab Claire, mein Kino buddy (ja, sie ist die, mit der ich letzten Sonntag im Kino so gut wie übernachted habe), mitgenommen. Wir waren 15 Minuten spät, weil Claire es wieder mal nicht geschafft hat. Normalerweise ist das voll okay, weil noch so viel Werbung läuft. Aber dank Glamour (oder ist das so bei Previews, dass da keine Werbung läuft?) gab es keine Werbung. Ich geh so: “Keine Werbung? Wie cool! Oh stimmt, dass heißt wir haben wirklich 15 Minuten verpasst.” *reeeennnn*
Ja ich bin 20-30 Minuten Werbung und den Eiscrememann, der Mitte der werbung reinschaut gewöhnt. (So ist es im Sony Center. Da geh ich immer hin.)

Dieses ganze Event fan dim UCI Colosseum statt, wohl möglich das schönste Kino bei dem ich je war. Es wirkt so schön auf einen und hat diesen fühl-dich-zu-hause-vibe. Ich war da noch nie. Ich würde dort jetzt immer hingehen, würden sie Filme auch auf English zeigen. Ich gucke Filme lieber in English, weil ich Synchronstimmen scheiße finde, Witze unwitzig und Original einfach besser ist.
Glamour hatte im Kino einen Stand und eine Gästeliste. Haha. Ich dachte schon ich geh in einen Klub. Sie haben einen Saal ausgemietet und war exklusiv für Glamour-Gewinner.

Der Film war fantastisch. Falls es einen langweiligen Teil gibt, habe ich ihn verpasst.Genau als wir reinkamen, hat der Film richtig angefangen. Kennt ihr es wenn win Film beginnt, aber nicht wirklich beginnt bis zur 30. Minute? Falls das so war, bin ich froh die 15 Minuten verpasst zu haben. Haha :D Aber sagt mir mal bescheid, was ich verpasst habe, nachdem ihr euch den Film reingezogen habt. Und den solltet ihr euch definitiv reinziehen.
Er ist sexy und heiß. Wie Cam Gigandet ;) (Das Bild oben wird ihm wirklich nicht gerecht!) Ich war kein großer Fan von ihm im Twilight Film (er ist der bad-ass Vampir, James) Ich steh nicht besonders auf den lange-Haare-im-Zopf Look, den er da hatte. Er sieht so viel besser aus mit kurzen Haaren. Und Junge, was für ein Körper. So heiß. Und Christina hat eine killer Stimme. Für eine Sängerin hat sie ziemlich gut geschaupielert. Sie and Cam waren ein heißes Paar. Die Chemie zwischen den hat sehr gut gestimmt. (Frag mich ob Christina, deswegen eine Scheidung einreichen will ;) )

Der Film hat mir gut gefallen. Oh und ich sehe die "Kunst" des Burlesques jetzt mit anderen Augen. Hat, für mich, viel mehr Klasse jetzt. Hab immer gedacht, Burlesque ist genauso schlecht wie ein Stripklub mit billigen Nutten.

Am Ende gab es noch eine Goody Bag für alle. Wie cool ist das denn? Ich kann den Film umsonst sehen, bevor alle anderen UND ich bekomme noch eine Goody Bag.:) Inklusiv:

SUNDAY AFTERNOON PLAYLIST (5)

First Sunday of the New Year I Erster Sonntag im neuen Jahr

Wow the sun was out today. I haven't seen the sun in months now. I go to school in the dark and come home in the dark. And even when the sun decides to grace us with its presence, I was stuck in class and in no way able of enjoying it. Or at least some rays. It was the perfect conditon to shoot an outfit post with my new coat I got for christmas. But my camera is still with my friend. Oh and so I still can't show you the pictures from the night at her's. But I'll post as soon as I get my camera back.

Tomorrow is school. I haven't done anything yet. Gosh, I still have lots of homework to do and I'm not feeling very well atm. I hope I'm not getting sick :( But back to the good things.

I have been in a MGMT and Franz Ferdinand mood today. Jep, my playlist is an overload of that today. Haha. But stumbled across the acoustic version of The Pretty Reckless' Make Me Wanna Die. I'm not a big fan of Taylor Momsen's new vampire, dark, gothic, drug addict rock chic kinda look, much preferred her in her early Gossip Girl years, when Jenny was still pretty and that Brooklyn girl with attitude and a rebel that fights to become a designer, but I must admit The Pretty Reckless make pretty good music. And this is coming from a not exactly rock fan. And I found one of my fav Red Hot Chili Peppers song, that I haven't heard in ages.

Oh and, those who follow my twitter already know but, I'm going to the Premiere of Burlesque tomorrow! How awesome is that?! I won by Glamour Magazine. I'm so excited. You might think I've had enough after that cinema shocker last Sunday. But no, my eyes have not turned to squares yet ;)

CRAZY NEW YEAR

pictures via google, I forgot my camera at a friends place. So annoying! -.-

This year was special. First my family went over to my auntie's place for dinner. We had turkey. So delicious! This year my family celebrated NYE at the Brandenburger Tor. It was the most amazing thing ever. Everyone was celebrating together and the people were actually all happy and friendly. There was this "Fanmeile"-vibe like during the World Cup in June going on. I think public viewing and public anything, does society good, when people with the same interest come together and just enjoy themselves.
There were a lot of tourists there and it was actually pretty crowded. I think reportedly it was said that around one million people came to this event. We didn't actually exactly make it to the Brandenburger Tor, because we arrived only 10 minutes to Midnight. But we're were actually pretty close. Paul Potts was supposed to be there, but being where we were standing, we didn't see or hear him. But that didn't matter, back there people were entertaining themselves singing, jumping around, screaming, drinking and of course setting firecrackers on fire. 3 guys even climbed the lantern and street post sign - shirtless. :D
 A group of tourist started the countdown too early. Haha. We still had a minute to go. On the real midnight, the sky was filled with beautiful fire works. It looked simply amazing. Unfortunately I forgot my camera at my friend's place. Those who follow my twitter know I went to my friend for a so called "pre new years party".(Pictures to come soon! As soon as I get my cam back :) )
It's the first time I have been out on NYE, because when it comes to firecrackers, I'm a chicken. I much prefer to watch them from my window, than stand next to them. I love fireworks, I think they are amazing. And I've been to the Pyronale before (you must see this once in your lifetime). I don't know, they just freak me out.
And yes I nearly wet my pants the whole night. Was a great experience tough :)
Back home my bro and me made ourselfs a cozy night with hot cocoa and Glee. (I only just started. And I must say I find it pretty amusing^^)
