Sass and Bide Autumn 2011 collection from London Fashion Week.

I think this is the collection I've loved the most so far. I'm into all the pinks, oranges and prints going on. It reminds me a bit of Ghana and Africa :) There are so many pieces I'd actually love to see in my closet. Also I like the accessories: the necklaces, shoulder detail ... Also can I have a pair of the shoes in burgundy please? Oh and don't forget to send the hat along! xD

We must admit that hat is super cool. Who cares about how wearable it is? It would look fine on my desk with accessoires. Gives your room an instant coolness factor. ;)

Sass and Bide Herbst Kollektion 2011 von der London Fashion Week.

Ich glaube, dass ist die Kollektion, die ich bis jetzt am meisten gemocht habe. Ich stehe total auf dieses ganze pink, orange und die Muster. Es erinnert mich ein bisschen and Ghana und Africa :) Es gibt so viele Teile die ich liebend gerne in meinem Schrank sehen würde. Außerdem gefällt mir das Accessoir sehr gut: die Ketten, Schulterdetail... Und kann ich bitte dieses paar Schuhe in burgundy haben? Ach und vergesst nicht den Hut mitzusende! xD

Wir müssen gestehen, der Hut ist supercool. Wer kümmerts das der nicht (wirklich) tragbar ist? Er würde sich gut auf meiner Kommode mit Accessoires tun. Gibt dem Zimmer einen instant coolness Faktor. ;)

ACTION PAINTING

Action painting I created on Jackson Pollock's official page. 

Remember how I said I was hanging around his page creating some virtual action painting? Of course it's nothing like real action painting as you aren't really in action but only clicking with the mouse on the screen and moving it around how you want to, but results are similar. And it's still brings joy :D

Wisst ihr noch wie ich auch erzählt habe, dass ich auf seiner hing und Seite virtuelles action painting gemacht habe? Natürlich ist das nichts wie echtes action painting, da man ja nicht wirklich in action ist, aber nur mit der Maus klickt und sie über den Screen zieht, wie man möchte, aber das Ergebnis ist ähnlich. Und es macht trotzdem Spaß :D

Das ist mein Resultat :) Lasst mich wissen, was ihr davon haltet! Habt ihr es auch schon selber ausprobiert?

Product of Boredom Final Results. The Artists: 4 girls with boredom that speaks. No! Paints :) IProdukt einer Langenweile Endresultat. Die Künstler: 4 Mädchen mit langer Weiler die spricht. Nein! Malt :)

I just stumbled across these pictures and it instantly reminded me of art and a way of painting my friends and me like to call action painting. It reminded me of the day my friends and I were bored from the so lame school day routine, that during the break between our art class we sniffed through the cupboards, found some paint and a piece of paper and with each girl having a paint brush in the hand, started swooshing the paint across the paper.
(The brush is not allowed to touch the paper in this process! Blurs of color are asked. Just swooshing around a paint brush full of paint.)
Sadly I can't locate the video anymore. Was quite funny how we splashed the paint around and laughed. Had to be neat and tided up before the bell rang of course.
By the way it was my idea to change the background to black to give it a cosmic-effect and to let the colors pop :)
Everybody has his 5 Minutes a day. Isn't it nicer to let it out and create a little piece of art? Definitely better than running up and down the school halls screaming like a Mongo just to process your 5 Minutes for a minute.

All these designs have been based on Jackson Pollock  (action painting in person!) Great stuff. Loving it. And you can do some virtual action painting on his page too here. Guess what I've been for the last 20 mins? haha :D

The rest of the website is pretty strange. Don't be surprised if you decide to pay vauntd a visit. Honestly I'm not sure what it's all about, but those dresses caught my attention and I'm warming up to them.
And to be honest, I find the white-pink pretty. I'd even wear it! :)

Ich bin gerade auf diese Bilder gestolpert und sie haben mich sofort an Kunst erinnert und eine Art der Malerei, die meine Freunde und ich Action Painting nennen. Es hat mich an den Tag erinnert, an dem meine Freunde und ich so gelangweilt waren von dem so langweiligen Schulablauf, dass wir während der Pause zwischen den Kunststunden durch die Schränke schnüffelten, etwas Farbe fanden und ein Stück Papier, und jede mit einen Pinsel in der Hand anfingen, die Pinsel gegen das Papier zu schwenken.
(Der Pinsel darf dabei das Papier nicht berühren! Farbklekse sind gefragt. Einfach mal mit Farbe am Pinsel herum spritzen).
Leider kann ich das Video nicht mehr aufspühren. War ziemlich lustig, wie wir die Farbe herum spritzten und dabei lachten. Musste aber natürlich bis zum Klingel alles wieder blitz blank sauber sein.
Übrigens war es meine Idee, den Hintergrund mal zu ändern, ihn einfach mal schwarz zu malen, um das ganze einen Cosmic-Effekt zu geben und damit die Farben poppen :)
Jeder hat seine 5 Minuten am Tag. Ist doch schön, wenn man es rauslässt und dabei ein Stückchen Kunst herbei zaubert. Immer noch besser als ein schreihender Mongo den Schulgang herrunter zu rennen um mal eben kurz seine 5 Minuten zu verarbeiten.

Der Rest auf dieser Internetseite ist ziemlich strange. Wundert euch nicht, falls ihr mal vauntd einen Besuch abstattet. Ich weiß ehrlich gesagt nicht genau worum es da geht, aber diese Kleider haben aufjedenfall mein Aufmersamkeit gewonnen und irgendwie mein Herz erobert.
Und wenn ich ganz ehrlich bin, finde ich das weiß-pinke Kleid ganz schön. Ich würds auch tragen! :)

PRETTY LITTLE PREVIEW: NEW YORKER LOOKBOOK

A little time back I received the Lookbook from New Yorker. (Thank you!) And I've been looking through it again and again. There is some pretty stuff that's hitting the stores this season. I thought I'd share with you the pieces that interrested me the most. Some of it, I'd love to have in my closet. Oh and yeah, isn't that cover like the coolest? Thought they did a good job there. Really nice idea. Have a little sneek peek. :)

Vor einiger Zeit habe ich das Lookbook von New Yorker erhalten. (Danke!) Und ich habs mir wieder und wieder angesehen. Es kommen ein paar tolle Teile in die Läden diese Saison. Ich dachte mir, ich zeig euch mal die Teile, die mich am meisten interressiert haben. Einiges davon würde ich gerne in meinem Schrank haben. Oh und ist dieses Cover nicht das Coolste? Finde sie haben da einen tollen Job gemacht. Schöne Idee. Kleiner Vorgeschmack. :)
