Ok so right now I'm in a deep hate-love relationship with Instagram and it feels like it's getting worse every time I open the app. But one thing I will forever be grateful for on Instagram is that fact that there are so many great brands and creators and people and places and hotspots to discover. Instagram is like a global hub of hidden gems once you dig deeper than your shitty "explore page" spammed with dumbass (sexist/I'm being cheated on/wtf even is your message/ completely wrong ideals) "comedy" videos or naked botox ass face girls and unrealistic #bodygoals.
This is how I recently discovered Likalla and immediately fell in love with the brand created by Lisa and Katrin.

BERLINALE WITH L'OREAL PARIS - GETTING READY IN MY HOTEL ZOO ROOM

Hey Guys,

It happened! It was my first time at Berlinale (ok let's not count that one time I went to Berlinale as part of my school curriculum in what must have been 6th grade and I actually saw a movie.) all thanks to L'Oreal Paris. The reason I was attending Berlinale was because of L'Oreal Paris opening of The Atelier, a special space dedicated to showcasing L'Oreal Paris new products in . During the Berlinale The Atelier opened its doors to public allowing everyone to discover their latest products in a fun way. You could get your hair done and try out their new one-day-sprays (pastell pink, blue and grey are my fav!) inspired by the Instagram-Culture or get a full on make up glow with all their latest releases or test out their super cool app called MakeUp Guru (they had a few iPads installed around the space), which has been on the market for at least more than a year now. It basically lets you test out their looks on your complexion prior to buying the products and kind of works like a snapchat filter.

THOUGHTS ON INFLUENCER AND THE BLOGGERSPHERE - BERLIN FASHION WEEK DAY 1

Hey guys!

How has your week been so far? I'm still procession what's been going on in the bloggersphere right now. Every season after Fashion Week its the same old story, a bunch of "Why I hate Fashion Week"- post surface right along with "Why I hate people that write about why they hate Fashion Week" counterparts. While there may be some good arguments on both sides it gets boring. It's the same old shit. I was ready to brace myself for the wave of those again, not bothering to take a stand on my own, because what I'll say has been said numerous times in rephrases.

MARIO TESTINO IN YOUR FACE VOGUE OPENING PARTY

One of the most exciting invitations I got for Fashion Week was an invitation by Vogue. An invitation to the opening of Mario Testino's In Your Face exhibition.
One thing I want to do more: visit galleries, look at art and let it completely overcome me.
Standing there between Mario Testino's works I remembered the power of a room of art having over me, the hold on me it could have and the feeling it would leave me with for hours if not sometimes days after, from my a-level time (my main courses were art & english) as we'd visit galleries on the regular.
Mario Testino's In Your Face exhibition is a must look-at. For photography lovers, fashion lovers and anyone with an appreciation for moods captured in a pure moment.
And it left me craving again.
So here is one thing I want to do more often: visit galleries.

MBFW BERLIN FASHION WEEK: DAY 1

Last week was that time of the year again - Berlin Fashion Week frenzy, buzz, parties, events, runway shows and more fashion shows. This year I took it upon myself to take a more relaxed approach to fashion week and declined most invitations. I wanted to have time to still go to uni and choose only a handful of events that seemed most interesting for me. Nevertheless my schedule was pretty exciting and still quite packed. Here is the first post of my fashion week adventures. Let's get started!

SATURDAY ROOFTOPS

Saturday was a lovely day in Berlin. It was sunny and it felt like spring was upon arrival. I spent my first half of the day working from the Aletto Hotel roof top. (So wanna come back up here when it's truly summer!). We were shooting for Face of Africa Germany. Well I was pretty much only observing and assisting, but I had my camera with me so at some point I took it out and it all evolved into little foto session up in the skys of Berlin. Also I couldn't help but snap these beauties in between the breaks and I just had to share these pictures with you.
For the day I choose my I don't know but I was really feeling the mix of glitter, jeans and leather dressed down casually paired with my favorite boho chic bag from Stradivarius and one of my coolest Weekday sneakers. Also I kinda tried the neckparty thing. Gotta find proper necklaces for a decent neck party. Anyway...

YOUGHURT DATE

Met up with some of my fav blogger babes Ina, Dogi, Lisa and Caro a few weeks back. We'd all been invited to Youghurt to try some of their new dishes they've just updated to their menus and the infamous American Cronuts (Croissant + Donut. Totally forgot to try those! :( Such a shame!) so we figured why not all go together and have our meeting there over brunch. We were planning a project which has been put on hold for now. Oh well.. Let's see what 2014 will bring.
Youghurt sells more than waffles and frozen yoghurt now. They've included savory meals such as soups and salads. I recommend the chicken salad. Comes in a super big bowl and that dressing is beyoooond!
I also had a waffle and couldn't resist that Raffaelo cream sauce topping once again.

ADIDAS STYLE ROOM

"Unite all originals" is next year's big over all theme at Adidas and therefore Adidas is reviving some of their old historic classics as for example the ZX850 sneaker.
As for Adidas Originals in particular - next season in honour of the World Cup to be held in Brasil, Brasil itself has become an inspiration which is visible in the Adidas Originals collection in form of footballs printed all over pullovers or simply the color green and jungle prints as a reoccurring theme.
And what's happening at Adidas NEO? Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez will be designing another collection for Adidas NEO next season. Already got my eyes set on Selena's bomber jacket with the sheer arms and floral details.

DOUBLE DENIM AND A BEANIE

If you ask my friends to play the association game and my name came up, especially during winter, pretty much all of them would say: neon pink beanie.
Ah my beloved neon pink beanie. It actually became my trade mark. You couldn't see me in the dark, but when you saw a 1-50 midget (I'm taller than 150!) with a neon beanie at far you could be 100% sure it was me. Adidas Neo sent me this cute beanie that can be worn inside and out. Good thing I have more beanies to choose from for this fall/winter. They're having a "How do you rock your beanie?" Competition on Twitter at the moment for you guys. You are supposed to show your own style either via twitter or using the social mirror in store. The most creative picture wins.

First thing about Primark's autumn/winter collection: it's great!
I was surprised how fashionable Primark has gotten and how it's keeping up to trend.
Primark is launching 5 collection coming up this autumn/winter with inspiration taken from street style but also bigger designers such as Chloé or Alexander McQueen.

5 O'CLOCK TEA PARTY WITH DEBENHAMS

On Thursday Debenhams invited a few bloggers to Munich to celebrate its extension to Germany and the launch of the official German online shop.

ADIDAS NEO STYLE BATTLE

Yesterday Susa and I visited the Adidas Neo store, because Adidas Neo invited me to do some styling that would be part of their style battle contest. You can visit any Adidas Neo store (find out the dates of the event before hand!) and participate by styling up an outfit, getting some make up done and taking your picture. This will then be uploaded to facebook and the look with the most likes wins a shopping spree with Emilia Schüle. She's a supercute lady, I met her at the Hamburg opening and I can only remember a positive encounter with her. So you'll be in good hands if you win ;)

VISITING THE ZALANDO POP UP STORE

Sunday afternoon I paid a visit to the Zalando Pop Up Store. What I noticed immediately (next to the delicious scent of crépes creeping up my nose, that reminded my stomach suddenly had lots of space for those French ultra thin version of pancakes and the quirky store design, I thought was totally adorable) was the color palette of this seasons Zalando Collection.

Sonntagnachmittag besuchte ich den Zalando Pop Up Store. Was mir sofort beim betreten des Stores auffiel (außer dem leckeren Geruch von Crépes, der meine Nase hoch kroch, und meinen Bauch daran erinnerte, dass er plötzlich ganz viel Platz für diese französische ultra dünne Version des Pfannkuchen hatte und dem quirky Store Design, dass ich total süß fand) war die Farbpalette der diesjährigen Zalando Collection.
Pasteltöne und neonfarbende Akzente. I like!
