MY UK SHOPPING

While in England during the Easter holidays I had to visit my favourite UK shops. Think Topshop (****), Primark, New Look etc. But this time I found surprising little, which was good, because it left me with more money to splurge at the duty-free section at the airport after a morning that's become famous in my family as 'Horror at London Luton Airport'.
But that's another story (which will follow up on the blog, once I feel like typing it out ^^).

I found a super cute blouse and blouse/dress at Primark and probably the best deal ever: The blue pants were only 2 pounds!
Also can't stop wearing my new New Look necklaces. I'm currently pairing them with EVERYTHING in my closet. New Look has these great deals were you get a piece for jewellery for the price of one. 2 for 1! Pretty rad. Plus I get 10% student discount, but that saves you like a pound or something.

Dear Cashmere opened launched its online store for the first time today. I was allowed to pick a few pieces to style up.
First up is the cream colored cardigan. I'm madly in love with this cardigan, because the feeling of it against my skin is just the best.

Dear Cashmere hat heute zum ersten Mal seinen eigenen Online Store geöffnet. Ich durfte mir einige Pieces zum stylen aussuchen.
Als erstes war der creme-farbende Cardigan dran. Ich bin total verliebt in diesen Cardigan, weil er sich so toll auf meiner Haut anfühlt.

ALEXANDER MCQUEEN AT THE CORNER BERLIN EVENT

Yesterday I had the honour to attend the Alexander McQueen cocktail reception held at The Corner Berlin. Together with Jasmin I visited the event to enjoy some drinks to music and the 19 piece runway collection that was exhibited in the store in attendance of Sarah Burton. Yes, the creative director of Alexander McQueen was there in flesh. :)

Gestern hatte ich die Ehre die Alexander McQueen Cocktail Rezeption im The Corner Berlin zu besuchen. Zusammen mit Jasmin besuchte ich das Event, um ein Paar Drinks zu Musik und den Anblick der 19-teiligen Runway-Kollektion zu genießen, die dort im Beisein Sarah Burtons ausgestellt wurde.  Ja, die Kreativ-Direktorin Alexander McQueens war höchstpersönlich da.

Elie Saab Haute Couture spring 12 - Backstage

Forget color blocking. Forget bold colors. This seasons runways are all about pastel colors. Seems like everybody is into Cotton Candy and tired of neon or anything bright after a season that cried and practically screamed for colors. Color blocking is so last season! (*cough* That doesn't mean it will prevent me from wearing color or strutting the color blocking style if I want to.)

Put on your pink tinted glasses and let fashion take you to the candy shop...dut dut. Maybe it'll let you lick the lollipop...

FEELING QUITE SENTIMENTAL TODAY

I've been having my ups and downs today. Dunno whats up, I guess I'm a little over-emotional today.
...Or blame it on post period hormone imbalance.
I haven't done an inspiration post in a way too long time, so here's what cheered my up today.

I read a really good blog post on Marie's Blog, where I also stole the pictures from. x)

Also I couldn't help smiling and when I watched this video. Not only is it a cover of one of my favorite feel good songs (I like to party to this alone in my room - you guys know what that looks like ;) ), but also I love how Leroy is simply having fun. He's truly gifted. And how cute is he?! :)
So why am I smiling out from ear to ear? Because you put a smile on my face, Leroy. Keep doing what you do.
