BERLIN FASHION WEEK A/W 13 INSTA IMPRESSIONS

Fashion Week is over. I enjoyed 4 (5 actually..) really great days with amazing shows, nice after show parties and events, catching up with my amazing people and meeting new ones of course. Can't wait to show you the pictures from all my days and the shows. Can't wait to share the experience with you. But for now, here is a little impression of what my days were like.

PS.: I uploaded the pictures from my phone to my computer.  My iPhone wouldn't let me upload the pictures to my instagram account because of internet problems I have been facing the last couple of weeks. Though as soon as my phone reconnects by itself they'll upload automatically. So don't be confused!

Anyway fashion week is over. Was a great week and I enjoyed it a lot.

OH-EM-GEE IT'S FASHION WEEK!!

It's probably gonna be the most exciting week for me. I feel like I'm a superagent leading a double life or something. You know: Student by day - Fashionista by night.

I'm kidding.


...Okay that's exactly how I feel. xD

I decided that this season I will only be visiting fashion week part time and the other time I will be a student extra ordinnaire and visit all my classes like a good student is supposed. Not gonna give you the whole school is important talk, but you know, it's important :) And it's my final year. So it's a pretty big deal.

My schedule is crazy this year! So many off site events and parties. So much to coordinate. Unfortunately I won't be going to everything, I've selected a few things I want to see and check out, yet I still feels like a lot. Especially with school in the morning.
I'm looking forward to the G-Star Raw show, Dimitri and Dawid Tomaszweski.

I went shopping today and bought a few pieces I'm gonna wear during fashion week.
It's not like a don't have shitload amounts of clothes. (Actually I don't. But it's not like a have to run around naked..) Suddenly everything seems inadequate and the only thing satisfying my unrest is the thought of new pieces. Thank God it's sale season, otherwise this would have turned out a little costly.

Guess what? I've already been to a pre fashion week fashion show last night! Fashion week has begun!!

Now I'm getting ready for fashion week - last minute preparations, off to classes and then to the official tent for the first time this season! Here we go...

LOOKING BACK: NEW LOOK GOES GERMANY!

We've all arrived in 2013, but last year again was a year filled with lots of great events for me and there is so much left unsaid, so many post left unpublished. I've gone back to curly messy hair after having twirls for a while.

I'm sorry I haven't been blogging much lately. First of all was the festive season that I spent with my family and friends. I hope you all enjoyed Christmas and had a great New Years Eve. Both were really fun and special this year for me.
But then there were some really bad news. Somebody in my family has passed away. I haven't been feeling like blogging much lately.
For now I've been carrying on with life until realization will hit of what has actually happened. And then it will hit me like a truck.
Life is so unpredictable. We need to cherish every moment of it, because before you know it, it may be gone...

THEOPHILUS LONDON IN CONCERT FOR FASHIONATION BY PEEK & CLOPPENBURG

Okay so ever since I started my blog I've been luckily enough to attend so many amazing events, but some of them feel special and one of those kind of nights was last Tuesday. Theophilus London was in town for a privat concert held in honour of the Fashion Department by P&C sponsored by Disaronno.
The night was simply amazing. I had the best time of my life with my bestie Louisa and I was so happy to be joined by Lisa, Defne, Dogi and Luca. The music was beyoooond and we were dancing like there's no (school) tomorrow. So when Theophilus London played Louisa's and my favourite song, Big Spender, we naturally went off.

Today it's my turn in the Brigitte Magazine Weihnachtsbloggerei Special and this is my contribution.

The Studded Gift Box


It's only 7 or 8 day until Christmas, depending on when you celebrate!! Ohh --emmm--geee! Most of you have probably been busily shopping. (Not me.) And presents need to be packed, but today we'll do it a bit differently. I found this cute gift box at Nanu Nana and thought, "Cute box, how handy for packing presents!" But since I'm really into studs at the moment, I wanted to give the box a little makeover, which resulted in the "Studded Gift Box".
It's a really easy DIY and sometimes less is more. Below the step by step how to.

Weihnachten steht vor der Tür und die meisten haben bereits fleißig Geschenke für Familie und Freunde gekauft. Und Geschenke müssen auch verpackt werden, aber heute wird mal anders verpackt. Diese süße Geschenkbox habe ich bei Nanu Nana entdeckt, und dachte mir “Hmm ist doch recht praktisch, um Geschenke einzupacken und sieht auch noch gut aus.” Aber da ich zur Zeit im Studs- Fieber bin, habe ich der kleinen Box ein Makeover verpasst. Rauskam die “Studded Gift Box”. Super, wenn man so eine Niete im Geschenkeverpacken ist wie ich! Pun intended. Dieses DIY ist auch recht simple. Tja weniger ist eben manchmal doch mehr.
