HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Happy Halloween guys!

Hope you are having a fun time dressing up (or dressing down as some of the girls do..?!?! yeah yeah "halloween is just an excuse for girls to get slutty" might be more than true for some chicks). I've seen so many fantastic and scary ass looks this week and my Facebook timeline has been blasting up with inspiration the last couple of hours.
My door bell has been ringing none stop with kids asking for sweets or threatening to throw eggs at our  front door. My family is never prepared for Halloween. The sweets we give out are probably at least a century old.. And honestly the kids that come ring our door bell have become less over the years. Wonder why?? Haha!



I celebrated Halloween on the weekend (most Halloween themed parties took place on the weekend) and I've got only iPhone snaps to show you. I had an amazing time with Nadine. It's been ages since I met up with her! So it was time to finally see each other again. And I'm happy we did. :)

But here's what was my inspiration for Halloween. I fell in love with Pixie Lott's look and knew immediately I was gonna go as a tiger! Raaawwwrrrr ;)



Ps.: Might get dressed up again just for you guys and re-snap my final Halloween look. Then I can give you details about my look and make up. But you'll have to wait to the weekend. I'm a little busy with school.. :(

PRESS DAYS

During the press days I had the chance to go visit the different agencies spread across Berlin and have a look at upcoming designs and pieces. From Pop phones (give me the gold one!!) to futuristic heels and bags at Hugo Boss, from cake pops in shape of shoes and clothes to amazing bags at MCM (new found love!), from falling deeper in love with Nikes and discovering the sneaker story to funky shoes at Jeremy Scott x Adidas, from Drykorn to We are Knitters DIY knits, from lovely necklaces at Anthropology to yummy cupcakes at Desigual and putting on a beard for a good cause called Movember, from amazing clothes at practically everywhere and falling in love with Karlotta Wilde.

WALD NO1 ISSUE RELEASE PARTY AND A QUICK STOP AT THE BAERCK

After a day of running around town for press days I decided to call it a day by enjoying the night chatting to friends over drinks at opening parties. I say parties because there were two. It was one of those beautiful nights in Berlin, one of those über-chilled ones, where you forget the stress and rush of the day and find a moment just to sit down and relax, and let the moment be. Somewhat carefree in a good way..

VISITING THE DESIGNER SALE

On the weekend I went to check out the designer sale. Unfortunately I didn't find anything amongst the masses of pieces and shoes, although the prices were quite alright. I met up with Laura and Eileen and her roomie Toko. We didn't stay long either, instead took so outfit pictures. Here's what I was wearing,
kindly captured by Laura. We took the pictures just under the bridge of the U-Bahn Gleisdreieck. It was a lovely day and probably the last day of "summer".
Judging from the weather today it's definitely "goodbye shorts!"

PRESS DAYS

I've been busy running from one agency to another looking at the upcoming collections, falling in love with new designers, single pieces and millions of bags and shoes (especially shoes!), running into friends, trying to catch up and rushing to the next agency.

STELLA AND DOT EVENT II

I've finally found time to publish the pictures from the Stella and Dot event that took place a few weeks ago. I met up with Nisi and together we made our way to the Hotel Michelberger, where the Team was waiting for us with delicious food and room full of jewelry. Stella and Dot is a company from the US, but thier products can be purchased online or from their so called trunk shows.
We had the chance to take a look and play with the pieces during a photo shoot. But before Hair and Make was done by M.A.C.

UNPUBLISHED: FIRST PRESS DAYS FOR ME

After failing to visit the last edition of press days last time - the sweet story of how I missed the press days and what you need to do not to fail like me, right this way - I met up with Carina to visit the Heeresbäckerei, where most of the agencies were represented in one spot. The other agencies held their press days in own four walls. The press days took place on a Thursday and Friday, but both of us were busy on Thursday which left us to check out all the agencies in 24 hrs. Minus the time we both had to be in school, so that left us with 3hrs.

MUSIKEXPRESS STYLE AWARDS 2012

Last week after fairly recovering from being sick, I visited the Musikexpress Style Awards 2012 thanks to Eileen who took me along which took place in a funky ass location. Believe me, it was magic. A glitter sparkly Smart dressed as a disco ball hanging from the ceiling speaks for itself.
We  enjoyed drinks in the VIP section, chilling with people like Klaas himself, Elyas M'Barek, who has just been named Gentleman of the Year (!) (more like hotness of the year!! Hello?! We started hyperventilating at his sight), ate appetizers until the Award began.

CALVIN KLEIN ENCOUNTER OUTFIT

In the event post I literally bombarded you with millions of pictures and my outfit kind of went swimming in the sea of images. Here's just my outfit. Here's what I came up with upon hearing the dress code was dark & sexy 56 minutes before I had to leave the house. After I was already perfectly dressed up. In a salmon colored floor length beauty.
I grabbed my favourite shorts and the most comfortable H&M shoes I've ever owned. They're new. At the end of the night I was surprised that I didn't have the urge to change into my spare ballerinas.
Anh took these outfit pictures for me in the SoHo House bathroom.

Perfectly on time for my birthday I received the official pictures for the shooting I did for Brigitte Magazines. I was only part of 10 other Bloggers that were featured by Brigittte. I had so much fun during the shooting and getting my make up done and dressed up by Veronika (the editor in chief herself!) to shoot together with my partner Esther. Wahrscheinlich kennt ihr das Video bereits aus dem Fernsehen. Und das Problem? Das ist euch auch bekannt.
Ich besonders, mit meiner doofen "Zwischengröße", weiß oft nicht, welche Größe ich mir bestellen soll.
Und dann kommt noch das Problem hinzu, dass nicht nur verschiedene Läden/Marken oft anders ausfallen, sondern manchmal kommt es auch echt aufs Modell an.
Sneakers trage ich zwischen 38-39 (ich besitze auch ein Paar in 40!) und Highheels oft 38, manchmal sogar 37. Und wenn ich mir dann Schuhe online bestellen soll? Tja.. da weiß ich dann oft nicht, welche Größe ich mir denn nun bestellen soll.
38? Passt ja meistens. Oder was ist wenn der Schuh doch kleiner ausfällt? Hmm..
Mit dem Größen-Kenner von Mirapodo soll nun geholfen werden.
Der Größen-Kenner gibt Tipps, weder man regulär einkaufen, oder doch lieber zu eine Nummer kleiner oder größer greifen soll. Es ist also eine Art Beratung während des Shoppens. Finde ich recht praktisch. Besonders, weil ich auch kurz davor stehe, mir Schuhe bei Mirapodo zu bestellen.
Was ich mir letztendlich bestellt habe, seht ihr dann, wenn die Schuhe ankommen.
Ob sie mir dann perfekt passen, erzähl ich euch auch dann.

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY! HIP HIP HOO...

Unfortunately I'm really sick, so, so far my birthday has been a birthday in bed.
None the less it's been a really chilled day and I've enjoyed reading all the cute birthday messages and taking calls from my sweet friends. But I've not been up to post a picture of myself today.
Trust me, you do not wanna see me in this state. It's.. not so pretty, let me put it that way ;)
And instead of going through my archives in search for a picture pretty super duper cute ass looking photo of yours truly i.e. recycling an old blog picture, I decided to show you a cupcake.

THE CALVIN KLEIN ENCOUNTER

I had the pleasure to join the Calvin Klein Party thanks to my friend Jeffrey, who kindly took me along as his +1. The reason for the occasion was the launch of the new fragrance Encounter which took place at the SoHo House Berlin in attendance of none other than Alexander Skarsgard, the face of the new perfume.

SUN BATHING IN SURANIA

Came back from Pilates with my friend, went to the doctor's and I've done a successful shopping.
Now the sun is kissing my skin and laughing into my face. I'm happily sucking up all the vitamin D, enjoying a few pages of Chic Lit (Plum Sykes - Bergdorf Blondes always makes me chuckle!), listening to feel good music on Spotify and drinking the last sips of my homemade Smoothie from yesterday. The sun is shining directly onto my balcony, so it's actually warm enough to lay there in my bikini.
Later I'm going to get ready for the Calvin Klein Encounter Party, I'm lucky enough to attend, because a friend is taking me. He'll be landing soon!
Good news is that I've found a necklace matching my dress just the way I imagined it.
I cherish days like these. Days like these, that feel like everything is going to be alright and the world is ours to enjoy.
I'm probably feeling so good, thanks the combination of morning Pilates and great weather.
Music on, world off. Sun kiss my face. Don't wake me up.

PATRICK MOHR OPENING

Before I headed to the Ellington Hotel for the Stella&dot event, I was in Mitte for the Patrick Mohr Opening. It was a nice late afternoon. The sun hit the streets of old Berlin Mitte. I was wearing one of my new favourite heels, enjoying a drink while having chit chats with my friends and browsed through the new collection.
I really like afternoons like that.
